제주도의 끝자락, 늦여름의 따스한 햇살이 카멜리아 힐을 감싸고 있다. 하늘은 푸른 캔버스 같고, 바람은 가볍게 스쳐 지나간다. 여기, 두 친구가 걸어가고 있다. 민지와 지수다.

At the end of Jeju Island, the late summer sun warmly embraces Camellia Hill. The sky is like a blue canvas, and the breeze gently brushes past. Here, two friends walk together. They are Minji and Jisoo.

"민지야, 오늘은 일 생각하지 마. 그냥 꽃 보고, 쉬자." 지수가 쾌활하게 말했다. 민지는 잠시 멈춰, 손에 쥔 스케치북을 바라보았다.

"Minji, today, don’t think about work. Let’s just look at the flowers and relax," Jisoo said cheerfully. Minji paused for a moment and looked at the sketchbook in her hand.

"나는 이곳에서 영감을 얻고 싶어. 나의 그림 속에 이 아름다움을 담아야 해." 민지가 조용히 말했다. 그녀의 목소리에는 약간의 갈등이 섞여 있었다.

"I want to get inspiration from this place. I need to capture this beauty in my drawings," Minji said quietly. Her voice was mixed with a bit of conflict.

지수는 한숨을 쉬었다. "항상 일, 일... 우리 그동안 함께한 시간들은 그저 일이었어?" 지수는 민지를 바라보며 말했다. 그녀의 눈에는 짐짓 걱정이 묻어 있었다.

Jisoo sighed. "It’s always work, work... Were all the times we spent together just work?" Jisoo said, looking at Minji. There was a trace of concern in her eyes.

카멜리아 꽃들이 만개한 언덕 위에 이르렀다. 그곳은 하늘과 한층 가까워 보였다. 민지는 스케치북을 들어 그림을 시작하려 했지만, 주변의 풍경은 너무나도 평온했다. 마음속에서 두 가지 갈등이 싸웠다.

They reached the hills where the camellia flowers were in full bloom. The place seemed closer to the sky. Minji tried to start drawing, lifting her sketchbook, but the surrounding scenery was so serene. Two conflicting feelings battled within her.

"민지야, 그림보다 중요한 것은 너야. 그리고 우리 추억들이야," 지수가 단호하게 말했다.

"Minji, more important than the drawings is you. And our memories," Jisoo said firmly.

이 말을 듣고 민지는 고개를 들었다. "나도 알아. 하지만 그게 항상 쉽진 않아." 그녀는 솔직하게 고백했다.

Hearing this, Minji lifted her head. "I know. But it’s not always easy," she confessed honestly.

두 사람은 잠시 조용히 서 있었다. 그런 뒤, 민지는 환하게 웃으며 스케치북을 가방 속에 넣었다. "좋아. 오늘은 그냥 즐기자. 그냥 활짝 피어난 꽃들처럼."

The two stood quietly for a moment. Then, Minji smiled brightly and put the sketchbook in her bag. "Alright. Let’s just enjoy today. Just like the flowers in full bloom."

지수는 그녀를 보며 장난스럽게 외쳤다. "이제야 네가 정신 차렸구나!"

Seeing her, Jisoo playfully exclaimed, "Finally, you’ve come to your senses!"

그 날, 민지와 지수는 꽃 속을 거닐며, 웃고 떠들었다. 민지는 자연 속에서 그저 존재하는 것만으로도 충분히 행복했다. 지수와 함께하는 시간이 소중하다는 것을 깨달았다. 긴장은 사라지고, 마음은 한결 가벼워졌다.

That day, Minji and Jisoo strolled among the flowers, laughing and chatting. Minji realized that merely existing in nature was happiness enough. She understood the value of the time spent with Jisoo. The tension disappeared, and her heart felt much lighter.

카멜리아 힐의 언덕 위에서, 민지는 진정한 친구가 얼마나 소중한지 다시금 깨달았다. 그리고, 앞으로의 삶에서 순간들을 더 소중히 여기겠다고 다짐했다. 그들은 행복하게 다음 목적지를 향해 걸어갔다. 여전히 말이 많던 지수와, 미소를 되찾은 민지가 같이.

At the top of the hill at Camellia Hill, Minji realized once more just how precious a true friend is. She resolved to cherish the moments in her life more dearly. They happily headed toward their next destination. With still talkative Jisoo and smiling Minji together.
