Under the autumn sky, the Hokkaido lavender fields were vast and beautiful.

Rows of purple stretched to the horizon, and in the chilly air, two siblings, Yumiko and Haruto, stood quietly.

"Hey, Haruto. Do you remember when we buried that time capsule here?" Yumiko asked, her eyes sparkling.

"Hmm, I sort of remember, but I sort of don't…" Haruto replied anxiously.

"But do you think we can find it, with this place being so vast?"

"It's okay. I really want to search for it. I want to feel the memories of that day once again," Yumiko said resolutely.

The two began to walk carefully between the rows of lavender.

Yumiko was trying to recall the exact spot where they had buried something precious years ago.

Was it near an old tree, or perhaps by a small hill?

Her memories were hazy, slowly losing shape through the passage of time.

"Hey, Haruto. Let's search separately. It'll be more efficient," Yumiko suggested.

"Isn't that a bit reckless? Well, let's give it a try, though." Haruto hesitated a bit, but decided to respect Yumiko's wish.

As time passed, the wind grew colder, and Yumiko felt an increasing sense of urgency.

Even after a long search, the capsule was nowhere to be found.

Tears welled up in Yumiko's eyes. "I can't believe we can't find it…"

At that moment, Haruto suddenly remembered a memory he had forgotten.

"Yumiko, I just remembered something. The secret song we made together on the day we buried the capsule."

"What?" Yumiko looked up as she wiped away her tears.

"The important thing is the value of that memory. Not the object itself, but the feelings we had back then," Haruto said, smiling gently.

Yumiko gradually smiled, feeling warmth from those words.

"You're right, maybe the fact that we are searching together today is the best memory of all."

They walked hand in hand through the lavender field.

Although they didn't find the time capsule, they realized that the bond between them had grown stronger than before.

As the Hokkaido lavender fields were dyed amber by the setting sun, they headed home, engraving new memories in their hearts.
