紅葉が鮮やかな秋の日、春斗（はると）、美雪（みゆき）、そして聡（さとし）の三人は日光へのロードトリップに出かけることにした。

道の途中で、空が暗くなり始めた。

風が強まり、雨がポツポツと降り出した。

「少し雨宿りしようか」と聡が提案する。

"How about we take shelter from the rain for a bit?" Satoshi suggested.

近くの静かなお寺へ向かい、三人は雨宿りをした。

They headed to a nearby quiet temple and took shelter from the rain.

お寺の中は穏やかで落ち着いていた。

Inside the temple, it was calm and serene.

雨音が心地よく、みなが自然に口を開いた。

The sound of the rain was soothing, and everyone naturally began to speak.

「昔のことを話そうか」と春斗が言った。

"Shall we talk about the past?" Haruto suggested.

三人はそれぞれの過去や将来の夢について語りだした。

The three of them started talking about their past and future dreams.

そして、聡はついに美雪への気持ちを打ち明けた。

Then, Satoshi finally confessed his feelings to Miyuki.

美雪は驚き、しかし心の中が温かくなった。

雨がだんだんと止み、外に出ると、見事な二重の虹が空にかかっていた。

The rain gradually stopped, and when they stepped outside, a magnificent double rainbow stretched across the sky.

「この旅、本当にいい思い出になったね」と春斗が笑顔で言った。

春斗は、多くの経験よりも、大切な友達との時間を大事にすることの意味を理解した。

彼らは、虹の下で写真を撮り、再び車に乗り込んだ。

They took photos under the rainbow and got back into the car.
