ハルトは薄暗い水族館の中を歩いていました。

「魚を守ろうとしていたんですか？」ハルトは目を見開きました。

"Were you trying to protect the fish?" Haruto widened his eyes.

カナはうなずきました。

"Yes.

展示をよくするには魚の安全が一番だからね」

For a good exhibition, the safety of the fish is most important."

ハルトははっとしました。表面的なことだけで判断してはいけないと気づかされました。

他人の行動の裏にある意図を理解することの大切さを、彼は学びました。

翌日、水族館は通常通りにぎわっていました。

The next day, the aquarium was bustling as usual.

ハルトは少し大人びた表情で、ユキに微笑みかけました。

Haruto gave Yuki a mature smile.

「人を理解するのも魚を見るのと同じくらい奥深いんだね」
