In the autumn, Nara Park is vividly colored by the autumn leaves, and the deer are leisurely roaming around.

As preparations for the local autumn festival are underway, I took a deep breath, determined to complete the wooden mask I was working on.

I want this mask to be perfect.

However, somewhere in my heart, I feel anxious that I might not succeed.

My friend Yuki is helping organize the festival events.

She is cheerful and always encourages me, saying, "Your mask is amazing, Haru!"

But I keep putting pressure on myself to make it even more perfect.

One night, I realized there was not much time left until the festival.

I decided to concentrate on the mask alone and carve it throughout the night.

"Haru, don't overdo it," Yuki said with concern.

"Can I help?" However, I shook my head.

"Thank you, but I want to do it by myself."

The day of the festival arrived.

The cherry trees in Nara Park were beautifully adorned with red and yellow leaves, and the light of the lanterns warmly illuminated the night.

I took the finished mask in my hands, preparing to show it to everyone.

But suddenly, a gust of wind knocked the mask to the ground.

"What should I do..." For a moment, my heart sank.

However, the people around me picked up my mask, and their expressions were filled with surprise and admiration.

"Mr. Haru's mask is very beautiful," I heard someone say.

At that moment, Yuki came over and gently pushed me forward.

"See, everyone is moved by it.

Even if it's not perfect, your work is wonderful."

With those words, I realized that art doesn't need to be perfect.

Rather, the feelings and individuality it embodies are what's important.

Yuki offering her help, and having companions around me, I understood that this is my true strength.

At the end of the festival, I smiled at Yuki and said, "Thank you. From now on, I'll accept more help."

She smiled back and replied, "Anytime!"

In this way, I learned to change my pursuit of perfection and to trust in the strength of companionship.

The autumn nights in Nara were warm and left a lasting impression on my heart.
