夏の終わり、渋谷の区役所は賑やかだ。

At the end of summer, the Shibuya ward office is bustling.

人々が投票に来ている。

外には旗とパンフレットが並べられ、候補者の支持者が静かに話しかける。

Outside, flags and pamphlets are lined up, and supporters of the candidates quietly talk to people.

ヒロシは緊張している。

Hiroshi is nervous.

友達のアイコは一緒だ。

She has strong opinions.

ヒロシに言う。「自分の信じることを大切にね。

何も恐れることはない。」彼女の言葉は力強く、ヒロシを勇気づける。

その時、別の列に座るのはユキだ。

At that moment, sitting in another row is Yuki.

He is older and values traditional ideals.

彼はヒロシに微笑む。「若者たちの意見、大切だね。
