東京タワーは、夏の午後にまばゆい光を浴びていました。

Tokyo Tower was basking in the dazzling light on a summer afternoon.

都会の風景は、陽の光に照らされてオレンジとピンクの色彩が広がります。

The urban landscape was bathed in sunlight, spreading hues of orange and pink.

高い場所から見る景色は、特別で素晴らしいものでした。

The view from the high vantage point was special and wonderful.

今日は学校の遠足の日。

Today was the day of the school field trip.

東京タワーの最上階へ行くことになっています。

The plan was to go to the top floor of Tokyo Tower.

広志はいつもカメラを手にして、写真を撮るのが大好きです。

Hiroshi always loved holding a camera in his hands and taking photos.

しかし、高い場所が苦手です。

However, he was not fond of high places.

さらに、広志にはもう一つの悩みがありました。

Furthermore, Hiroshi had another worry.

それは、クラスメートのあゆみに話しかけたいけれど、勇気が出ないことでした。

He wanted to talk to his classmate Ayumi but didn't have the courage to do so.

しかし、あゆみはいつも友達に囲まれています。

There was no chance to talk to her.

東京タワーの最上階に着くと、広志は心臓がドキドキし始めました。

When they reached the top floor of Tokyo Tower, Hiroshi's heart started to race, and his legs felt wobbly.

足元がふわふわしています。

Finally, Hiroshi mustered up the courage to take a step forward.

ついに、広志は思い切って一歩を踏み出しました。

With his camera in hand, he walked toward the edge of the tower.

彼はカメラを手に、タワーの端に向かって歩きました。

There, he saw Ayumi gazing at the view alone.

すると、そこには一人で景色を眺めているあゆみの姿が見えました。

"Ayumi..." Hiroshi called out to her.

「あゆみさん…」と、広志は声をかけました。

Ayumi turned around, looking surprised.

驚いた様子のあゆみが振り向きます。

"Can I take a photo?"

「写真、撮ってもいいかな？

"Oh, Hiroshi!

」「あ、広志くん！

Of course, you can.

もちろんいいよ。

This view is really beautiful, isn't it?"

この景色、本当にきれいだね」と、あゆみは笑顔で答えました。

Ayumi replied with a smile.

その瞬間、広志の心の中の不安は消え去り、代わりに温かい気持ちが広がりました。

二人はしばらく景色を見ながら話をしました。

遠足が終わり、帰る時間になりました。
