渋谷の交差点は、まるで東京の心臓のように動いていました。

The Shibuya crossing was moving as if it were the heart of Tokyo.

ネオンライトが輝き、人々は色とりどりの傘を差して忙しなく行き交っています。

Neon lights glittered, and people carrying colorful umbrellas busily passed by.

そんな喧騒の中、レンは警察署を訪ねました。

Amidst the hustle and bustle, Ren visited the police station.

今日はお盆祭りの最中です。

It was during the Obon Festival.

家族が集まり、ご先祖様を偲ぶ時期。

A time when families gather to remember their ancestors.

しかし、レンの心はそれどころではありません。

妹のユキが行方不明になりました。

His younger sister Yuki had gone missing.

警察署の中は、外の交差点ほどではないにしろ、慌ただしい雰囲気が漂っていました。

ヒロシという名の刑事がレンを迎え入れました。

A detective named Hiroshi welcomed Ren.

ヒロシは落ち着いた性格で、レンの焦りを理解しようと努めました。

レンは妹のことを説明しました。

そこは迷い魂に捧げられた灯籠が並び、しんみりとした雰囲気が漂っていました。

そこで、ユキの字を見つけました。「自由になりたい。

There, he found Yuki's writing: "I want to be free.

でも、家族も大切。」

レンはすぐに悟りました。ユキは近くにいると。

Ren immediately realized Yuki was nearby.

灯籠の向こう側には、小さな庭が広がっていました。

その場で二人は座り、それぞれの思いを開きました。
