数分後、ひろし警官が現れた。

」「はい、昨日のお盆祭りの夜、何かおかしなことを見ました。

"Yes, during last night's Obon festival, I saw something strange."

」心の中で不安を抱きつつも、決意したさくらは語り始めた。

「提灯を河に流しているとき、人混みの中で何か黒い影を見ました。

それがポケットを探っているように見えたんです。

でも、あの時、何かが盗まれたような気がしてなりませんでした。

」ひろしはメモ帳を取り出し、注意深く書き始めた。

」その瞬間、さくらの目が警察署の落とし物コーナーに注がれた。

At that moment, Sakura's eyes were drawn to the lost and found section of the police station.

そこには、見覚えのある手袋があった。

There, she saw a familiar pair of gloves.

「それです！

"That's it!"

」彼女は立ち上がり、興奮を抑えきれず叫んだ。

「昨日の祭りで見た手袋です！

"Those are the gloves I saw at the festival yesterday!"

」ひろしは手袋を手に取り、慎重に調べ始めた。
