軍服を着た青年、ハルトはこの基地で毎日忙しく働いています。

そんなハルトには、幼馴染であり基地の医療チームに所属するミユキという友人がいます。

オフィスの窓から外の賑やかな雰囲気を一瞬だけ眺めたハルトは、胸の中で決意を新たにしました。

After stealing a moment to look at the lively atmosphere outside from his office window, Haruto renewed his resolve in his heart.

「今日は何があってもきちんと任務をこなし、お盆のお祭りに参加しよう」と。

"No matter what happens today, I'll complete my duties properly and participate in the Obon festival."

しかし、その時でした。

But it was then that he felt something strange in his body.

突如、ハルトは身体に異変を感じました。顔が赤く腫れ、息をするのが辛くなり始めました。

His face became red and swollen, and it became difficult to breathe.

彼は手元の栄養補給のために持ってきた食べ物に何かが入っていたのかもしれず、それによるアレルギー反応でした。

It might have been an allergic reaction to something in the food he had brought for nourishment.

しかし、ハルトは頑なに誰にも告げようとせず、ただ任務を続けようとします。

Despite this, Haruto stubbornly refused to tell anyone and just tried to continue his duties.

負けん気の強い彼を知るミユキは、すぐに異変に気づきました。

Miyuki, knowing how stubborn he could be, quickly noticed the change.

「ハルト、大丈夫？」ミユキは彼の健康を案じて声をかけますが、彼は弱音を吐こうとしません。

次第に状態が悪化し、ついにハルトは崩れ落ちました。

As his condition worsened, Haruto finally collapsed.

その瞬間、ミユキはすぐに彼に駆け寄りました。

「休まなきゃダメよ、ハルト！」彼女の声は緊急の響きが含まれていました。彼の命がかかっていることを悟り、ミユキは彼の言葉を振り切って、専門的な治療を始めました。

After a while, Haruto regained consciousness in a hospital room.

ミユキが彼の傍に立って安心した顔を見せています。

「ありがとう、ミユキ。」彼は小さく微笑みました。

"Thank you, Miyuki." He smiled faintly.

ハルトはようやく自分の健康も大切にしなければならないと理解しました。

Haruto finally understood that he needed to take care of his own health as well.

お盆の夜、ハルトはゆっくりとした足取りで港に向かい、家族や仲間と共に祭りの灯りを見ることができました。

On the night of Obon, Haruto slowly made his way to the port, where he could watch the festival lights with his family and friends.

任務だけでなく、自分自身を大切にすることを学んだハルトは、今まで以上に明るい笑顔を浮かべていました。
