野生のアイビーが絡まる錆びた重い扉、夏の暑さが漂う木々に息づいていました。

A rusty, heavy door entangled with wild ivy breathed among the trees that carried the summer heat.

ハルキとエミコはその入り口を見つけて立ち止まりました。

Haruki and Emiko discovered the entrance and paused.

エミコは冒険心に満ちていました。

Emiko was filled with a sense of adventure.

「ハルキ、この中に入ってみようよ！絶対にお宝があるかも」と彼女は笑顔で言いました。

"Haruki, let's go inside! There might definitely be treasure," she said with a smile.

ハルキは慎重な性格でした。

彼はお盆の時期に、先祖のことを大切に思っている。

During the Obon period, he held his ancestors in high regard.

「でも、これはもしかしたら祖先のものかもしれない。何か捧げ物をしてから入ろう」と言いました。

"But this might belong to our ancestors. Let's make an offering before we go in," he suggested.

二人は扉を開け、ゆっくりと中に足を踏み入れました。

The two of them opened the door and slowly stepped inside.

暗い中、懐中電灯の光が石の壁に揺れていました。

In the darkness, the flashlight's beam flickered on the stone walls.

ハルキは先祖の霊を傷つけないように、道中で小さな紙幣を置きました。

「何か見つけた？」とエミコは声をひそめて聞き、先へ進みました。
