新宿の街はにぎやかです。

The streets of Shinjuku are bustling.

春の始まりを告げる桜の花が、いつもと違う色を見せています。

The cherry blossoms, heralding the beginning of spring, are showing a different color than usual.

風にのってひらひらと舞う花びらが、まるで新しい物語の始まりをお祝いしているようです。

The petals, fluttering gracefully in the wind, seem as if they are celebrating the start of a new story.

広志は、おっかなびっくりしながら歩いています。

Hiroshi walks nervously.

来月から彼は高校生になります。

From next month, he will become a high school student.

目指すのは新宿にある芸術高校の美術部。

His goal is the art club of the arts high school located in Shinjuku.

広志の夢は、絵を描くこと。

Hiroshi's dream is to draw.

その夢を叶える第一歩として、高校での新しいスタートを切りたいのです。

As the first step to realizing that dream, he wants to make a fresh start in high school.

でも広志は心配です。

But Hiroshi is worried.

自分の絵で美術部に入れるのか、不安でいっぱいです。

He's filled with anxiety about whether his drawings will be good enough to get into the art club.

「もっと自信を持たないとな…」と心の中で何度もつぶやきます。

He repeatedly mutters to himself, ""I need to be more confident..." in his mind.

それでも、広志は頑張って手元のスケッチブックに向かいます。

Even so, Hiroshi diligently focuses on his sketchbook.

その日、友達の誘いを断って、広志は一人で家に帰ります。

That day, he declines an invitation from his friends and goes home alone.

友達のユキとアイコは、花見で大勢の人と楽しく過ごしていることでしょう。

His friends, Yuki and Aiko, are probably enjoying the cherry blossom viewing with many people.

しかし、広志は絵の仕上げが優先だと思っています。

However, Hiroshi believes finishing his drawing is more important.

高校の入学式の日。広志の絵が展示されています。

On the day of the high school's entrance ceremony, Hiroshi's artwork is on display.

心臓がドキドキして、手汗が止まらない。

His heart pounds, and his palms are sweaty.

すると、ユキとアイコが近づいてきます。

Then, Yuki and Aiko approach him.

「広志くんの絵、すごくいいよ！」と、ユキが言います。

"Hiroshi-kun, your drawing is really great!" says Yuki.

「本当にキレイだね！」と、アイコも続けます。

"It's really beautiful!" adds Aiko.

広志はホッとして、一気に胸のつかえがとれたようです。

Hiroshi feels relieved, as if a weight has been lifted from his chest.

同じ美術部に入ることになったユキとアイコは、広志とともにこれからの活動を楽しみにしています。

Yuki and Aiko, who also joined the same art club, are looking forward to future activities together with Hiroshi.

しっかりとした友人の応援を受けて、広志の不安は少しずつ消え、自信が芽生えはじめます。

With the strong support of his friends, Hiroshi's anxiety gradually fades, and confidence begins to grow.

広志にとって、新しい高校生活が始まりました。

For Hiroshi, a new high school life has begun.

絵を通じて新しい友達ができ、夢に一歩近づいていると感じています。

Through art, he has made new friends and feels that he is one step closer to his dream.

美術部の先輩にも認められ、この春から参加することになった芸術展にも、とても楽しみにしています。

He is recognized by the upperclassmen in the art club and is eagerly anticipating the art exhibition he will be participating in from this spring.

広志は秘密の中に隠していた自信を、ようやく外に出すことができました。

Hiroshi was finally able to reveal the confidence he had kept hidden within.

春の風が吹き、桜の花びらが舞う中で、広志の新しい物語が始まります。

With the spring breeze blowing and cherry blossom petals dancing in the air, Hiroshi's new story begins.
