大阪の精神科病棟には、17歳の空（そら）がいました。

In the Osaka psychiatric ward, there was a 17-year-old named Sora.

彼は春の光を浴びる大きな窓のそばに座っていました。

He was sitting by a large window bathed in the spring light.

窓の外には桜の花が満開です。

Outside the window, the sakura flowers were in full bloom.

空は孤独を感じていましたが、今は学校の卒業式に参加したいという思いで心がいっぱいでした。

Although Sora felt lonely, his heart was now filled with the desire to attend his school's graduation ceremony.

卒業式は、彼の人生の大切な節目になるはずです。

The graduation ceremony was supposed to be an important milestone in his life.

しかし、彼の心の健康状態と病棟の厳しい規則によって、外出は難しい状況でした。

However, due to his mental health condition and the strict rules of the ward, going out was difficult.

空は深い孤独を感じました。

Sora felt a deep loneliness.

ある日、勇気を振り絞って、優しい看護師の幸（ゆき）にこう告げました。「卒業式に行きたいんです」。

One day, he mustered up the courage and told the kind nurse Yuki, "I want to go to the graduation ceremony."

幸は空の願いを聞いて、彼を理解し、応援することに決めました。

Yuki, hearing Sora's wish, decided to understand and support him.

幸は病棟の医師である治（はると）先生のもとに行き、空のことを話しました。

Yuki went to the attending doctor, Haruto-sensei, and talked about Sora.

「空くんを卒業式に行かせてあげたいんです」と幸は熱心に訴えました。

"I want to let Sora-kun attend the graduation ceremony," Yuki earnestly pleaded.

治先生は慎重に考えましたが、最終的に彼を信じ、卒業式への参加を許可することにしました。

Haruto-sensei thought carefully but ultimately chose to trust him and allowed his participation in the graduation ceremony.

そして春分の日、空は幸せなニュースを聞いたのです。

And so, on the spring equinox, Sora heard the happy news.

「卒業式に参加できるよ」と幸が微笑んで言いました。

"Sotsugyo-shikiに参加できるよ," Yuki said with a smile.

空の心は希望で満たされ、彼は再びクラスメートたちに会いに行くことができると実感しました。

Sora's heart was filled with hope, and he realized that he could meet his classmates again.

その日、空は卒業式に参加しました。

On that day, Sora attended the graduation ceremony.

友達と再会し、成長した自分を感じました。

He reunited with friends and felt his own growth.

彼は孤独ではなく、仲間に囲まれていると感じました。

He no longer felt lonely but surrounded by companions.

この経験は空の回復の旅において、大きなポイントとなりました。

This experience became a significant point in Sora's journey to recovery.

空は心に自信と未来への希望を持ちました。

Sora embraced confidence in his heart and hope for the future.

挑戦があっても、夢は叶うと知りました。

He learned that even with challenges, dreams can come true.

これから、彼は新しい自分の道を歩んでいく決意をしました。

From now on, he decided to walk his own new path.

そして、満開の桜の下でのその一日は、空にとって新たな始まりとなったのです。

And under the fully bloomed sakura trees, that day became a new beginning for Sora.
