遅い冬のある日、山の奥にある温泉旅館で家族の集まりがありました。

One late winter day, there was a family gathering at an hot spring inn located deep in the mountains.

旅館は木造の建物で、白い雪に囲まれていました。

The inn was a wooden building, surrounded by white snow.

数日後にはひな祭りがあり、旅館の中には桜の飾りがいっぱいありました。

A few days later, it would be Doll Festival, and the inn was filled with cherry blossom decorations.

はるとは静かな青年でした。

Haruto was a quiet young man.

彼はいつも家族の中で控えめで、姉のあきこに比べられてしまうことが多かったです。

He was always reserved within the family and often compared to his older sister, Akiko.

あきこは元気で明るく、家族の中でも特に父のだいすけに可愛がられていました。

Akiko was lively and cheerful, especially adored by their father, Daisuke.

だいすけは厳格な父でした。

Daisuke was a strict father.

彼は家族の伝統と名前を重視していました。

はるとはいつも父の期待に応えたいと思いながらも、自信がありませんでした。

温泉でのお昼の時間、だいすけは家族の前で話をする時間にしました。

はるとは自分の才能や目標について話し始めました。

だいすけは最初は驚きましたが、徐々にはるとの言葉に耳を傾けるようになりました。

話が終わった後、家族は静かになりました。
