冬の朝、嵐山の竹林は静かでした。

On a winter morning, the bamboo grove in Arashiyama was quiet.

空は灰色で、冷たい風が竹の間を通り抜けていました。

The sky was gray, and a cold wind blew through the bamboo.

この日は特別な日でした。

春木、瑞希、そして直樹の家族は、久しぶりに一緒に過ごすために嵐山にやって来ました。

The families of Haruki, Mizuki, and Naoki came to Arashiyama to spend time together after a long while.

「今日は電話を置いていくよ」と春木は言いました。

"I'm leaving my phone behind today," Haruki said.

「家族と一緒の時間が大切だから。

"Time with family is important."

」彼の決意に瑞希は微笑みました。

Mizuki smiled at his resolve.

「いい考えね。

"That's a good idea.

直樹、あなたもスマホをしまって。

Naoki, you put your smartphone away too."

」直樹は少し不満そうでしたが、嫌々スマホをポケットにしまいました。

Naoki looked a bit unhappy, but reluctantly put his smartphone into his pocket.

竹林を歩くと、静かな自然の音だけが聞こえてきます。

As they walked through the bamboo grove, only the sounds of nature could be heard.

竹の葉のさやさやとした音、遠くから聞こえる川のせせらぎ。

The rustling of bamboo leaves, the distant murmur of the river.

冬の冷たい空気は、彼らの頰を赤くしました。

The cold winter air made their cheeks red.

春木は瑞希と直樹と話しながら、家族との時間を楽しもうとしていましたが、ふと電話がないことに不安を感じました。

Haruki tried to enjoy the time with his family while talking to Mizuki and Naoki, but he suddenly felt anxious about not having his phone.

仕事のメールや電話が気になり、心は落ち着きませんでした。

「パパ、見て！

あの竹、すごく背が高いよ！

」直樹が指をさして叫びました。

一旦どこかに避難しよう」と瑞希が提案しました。

Let's find shelter somewhere," Mizuki suggested.

家族は道を急ぎ、近くの小さな茶屋を見つけました。

The family hurried along the path and found a small teahouse nearby.

そこは暖かい光とお茶の香りで満ちていました。

It was filled with warm light and the aroma of tea.

茶屋でお茶を飲みながら、春木は瑞希と直樹に仕事のことを謝罪しました。

While drinking tea at the teahouse, Haruki apologized to Mizuki and Naoki about his work.

「もっと家族との時間を大切にするよ」と春木が誓いました。

"I'll cherish family time more," Haruki vowed.

直樹も、「家族ともっとこういう時間を過ごしたい」と言いました。

Naoki also said, "I want to spend more time like this with the family."

三人は笑顔を交わし、また一つ近づいたように感じました。
