北極の風が強く吹き荒れる中、苛酷な寒さが地平線まで続く。

"Kaito-san, don't push yourself," Hana said in a hoarse voice.

"I'm alright."

しかし、カイトは彼女の顔色を見てそうではないことを知っていた。

However, Kaito could tell from her complexion that she wasn't.

若い助手のユキも心配そうに見守っていた。

The young assistant, Yuki, was also watching anxiously.

「電波がもっと安定してほしい…」ユキは不安げに言った。

カイトは交流用の無線機を握りしめ、基地との断続的な通信を試みた。

Kaito clutched the radio used for communication and tried to maintain intermittent contact with the base.

風が音を遮り、言葉が途切れてしまう。

The wind muffled the sounds, causing words to be cut off.

外では嵐が激しさを増していた。

Outside, the storm was intensifying.

「どうするべきか…」カイトは独り言のようにつぶやいた。

"What should we do..." Kaito muttered to himself.

チームの安全が第一だ。

それに、ハナの具合が悪くなっている。

"For a moment, the weather's improving!"

それは、短い風の静かな瞬間。

It was a brief calm in the wind.

カイトはすぐに決断を下した。

「今しかない。行こう。」

"It's now or never. Let's go."

彼らは迅速に荷物をまとめ、雪を蹴って前進した。

They swiftly gathered their belongings and pushed forward through the snow.

ハナを支え、急いでリフトオフ地点へと向かう。

Supporting Hana, they hurried toward the lift-off point.

ヘリコプターがちらつき、彼らを迎えに来た。

A helicopter flickered into view, coming to retrieve them.

ハナの状態は安定した。

Hana's condition stabilized.

嵐の再来する直前、ようやく安全な場所に辿り着いたのだ。

Just before the storm returned, they finally reached a safe place.

飛行機の中で、カイトは仲間に感謝した。

In the airplane, Kaito expressed his gratitude to his companions.

「君たちがいなければ、無事ではいられなかった。」

"Without you, we couldn’t have been safe."

「私たちも同じです。」ハナは微笑んだ。

"We feel the same way," Hana smiled.

「皆さんがいてくれたから、ここまで来られました。」

"We made it here because you were all with us."

ユキも頷いた。

Yuki nodded.

「チームワークですね。」

"It's teamwork, isn't it?"

カイトは小さく笑った。

Kaito smiled slightly.

過去の重荷が少し軽くなった気がした。

He felt the burden of the past lighten a little.

彼は新たな絆を感じ、仲間と共にいることを誇りに思った。
