夏の暑い日、渋谷の交差点はいつも通り賑やかだった。

On a hot summer day, the Shibuya crossing was as lively as ever.

ネオンのライトが街を照らし、すべての道が人で埋め尽くされていた。

Neon lights brightened the city, and all the streets were filled with people.

その中に、大学生の由紀がいた。

Among them was Yuki, a university student.

彼女は近くのIT企業でインターン中だった。

She was interning at a nearby IT company.

由紀はいつも自信を持ちたいと思いながらも、決断にためらい悩むことが多かった。

そのとき、倒れている一人の女性が目に入った。

At that moment, she noticed a woman who had collapsed.

彼女は年配の笑顔が素敵な女性、恵美子さんだ。

The woman, an elderly lady with a lovely smile, was Emiko.

いつも渋谷に来て、都会の活気を楽しんでいた。

She always came to Shibuya to enjoy the bustling city life.

しかし今日は、突然の体調不良に襲われたようだ。

However, today, she seemed to have been suddenly struck by a health issue.

人々が集まり始める中、由紀もどうすれば良いかわからず、立ち尽くしていた。

As people began to gather, Yuki stood there, unsure of what to do.

その瞬間、ヒロという救急隊員が現れた。

Just then, a paramedic named Hiro appeared.

彼は迅速に行動し、辺りを整理し始めた。

He quickly took action and started to organize the scene.

The plea, "We need help!" particularly stuck in Yuki's mind.

She confronted her own feelings, questioning, "Can I do this?" but then firmed her resolve, thinking, "I can do it."

由紀は一歩前に出た。

Yuki stepped forward.

そしてヒロに伸ばす手を、「どうすればいいですか？」と伝えた。

She reached out to Hiro and asked, "What should I do?"

ヒロは由紀に簡単な指示を与え、二人は恵美子さんのケアを続けた。

Hiro gave Yuki simple instructions, and together they continued to care for Emiko.

由紀は震える心を抑えながらも、落ち着いて行動できた。

Suppressing her trembling heart, Yuki was able to act calmly.

しばらくして、恵美子さんの意識が戻り、安堵の表情を浮かべた。

After a while, Emiko regained consciousness and showed a relieved expression.

「ありがとう、若い子たち」と彼女は微笑みかけた。

"Thank you, young ones," she smiled.

それを見た由紀の心は、嬉しさと安心感で満たされた。

交差点には再び活気が戻った。

The liveliness returned to the crossing.
