Her brother, Hiro, is also walking with her, surveying their surroundings.

「エミコ、あそこの店はどう？」とヒロが指を差す。

"Emiko, how about that shop over there?" Hiro points.

エミコはうなずき、少し前に進んでみる。

Emiko nods and moves forward a bit.

すると、別の方向から現れたのは新しい顔の若い男、タカシだ。

Suddenly, from a different direction, appears a young man with a new face, Takashi.

彼は旅をする商人で、この町には初めて訪れたばかりだ。

He is a traveling merchant, and it is his first visit to this town.

タカシは同じく珍しい布を探していた。

Takashi is also searching for rare fabrics.

「こんにちは、多くの人がこの布を求めていますね。」彼はエミコに優しく声をかける。

"Hello, many people are looking for this fabric, aren't they?" he gently says to Emiko.

Walking through the market, the two visit various shops.

そして、やっと一軒の隠れた屋台で目当ての布を見つける。
