日が昇ると、京都の街は静かでした。

When the sun rose, the city of Kyoto was quiet.

博は旅をしていました。

Hiroshi was on a journey.

今日の目的地は伏見稲荷神社です。

Today's destination was Fushimi Inari Shrine.

彼は少し興奮していました。

He was a bit excited.

京都駅から伏見稲荷駅まで電車に乗りました。

He took a train from Kyoto Station to Fushimi Inari Station.

駅を出ると、赤い鳥居が見えました。

When he exited the station, he saw a red torii gate.

博は大きな笑顔を浮かべました。

Hiroshi had a big smile on his face.

「すごい！

」と心の中で叫びました。

博は鳥居をくぐりました。

Hiroshi passed through the torii gate.

たくさんの鳥居が山の中へ続いていました。

There were many torii gates continuing into the mountain.

道は長くて、少し疲れました。

The path was long and he got a bit tired.

でも景色は美しかったです。

But the scenery was beautiful.

途中で小さな売店がありました。

Along the way, there was a small shop.

博は冷たい水を買いました。

Hiroshi bought some cold water.

そこで地元のおばあさんと話しました。

There, he talked with a local elderly woman.

「この神社はいつも不思議な力がありますよ」とおばあさんは言いました。

"This shrine always has mystical powers," the woman said.

博は道を進むと、狐の石像を見つけました。

As Hiroshi continued on the path, he found a stone statue of a fox.

稲荷神社のシンボルです。

It is the symbol of Inari Shrine.

狐の目はキラリと光りました。

The fox's eyes glimmered.

博はお参りをしました。

Hiroshi prayed.

たくさんの鳥居を通り抜け、頂上に着きました。

After passing through many torii gates, he reached the summit.

頂上の景色は絶景でした。

The view from the top was breathtaking.

京都の街が遠くまで見えました。

He could see the city of Kyoto stretching into the distance.

博は深呼吸をしました。

Hiroshi took a deep breath.

「ここまで来て良かった」と思いました。

"I'm glad I came all the way here," he thought.

帰り道、博は一日を振り返りました。

On the way back, Hiroshi reflected on the day.

美しい景色、親切なおばあさん、そして不思議な狐。

The beautiful scenery, the kind elderly woman, and the mystical fox.

心が温かくなりました。

His heart felt warm.
