Di sebuah desa nelayan kecil di Asia Tenggara, hujan turun tanpa henti menyelimuti musim semi.
In a small fishing village in Southeast Asia, the rain fell incessantly, enveloping the spring season.
The village was filled with stilt houses lined along the riverbank.
Usually calm, this time nature presented its own challenge with the unending sound of rain and the river water rising swiftly.
In one of the stilt houses, Rizky stood by the window, his eyes anxiously looking out.
"The water is rising, Putri," he said to his sister, who was rolling up their belongings in the house.
Putri, lebih muda tetapi selalu optimis, menatap kakaknya.
Putri, younger but always optimistic, looked at her brother.
"Kita bisa hadapi ini, Kak. Kita harus bersiap. Tapi jangan khawatir, aku punya ide," jawabnya dengan senyum percaya diri.
"We can face this, brother. We need to be prepared. But don't worry, I have an idea," she replied with a confident smile.
Rizky knew he had to make an important decision: stay and try to protect their home, or take the family to a safer place.
The choice wasn't easy, but the rapidly rising water made his decision more pressing.
"Father once said that the boat under the house can still be used," Putri said while pointing to one corner of the house.
"Maybe we can take everything to higher ground."
Rizky teringat tentang perahu itu.
Rizky remembered that boat.
Satu-satunya cara cepat untuk mengungsi jika keadaan memburuk.
It was the only quick way to evacuate if the situation worsened.
Namun, meninggalkan rumah bukanlah hal mudah.
However, leaving the house wasn't easy.
The place was filled with memories and their life.
Tapi keluarga lebih berharga dari apapun.
But family was more valuable than anything.
Mereka bekerja sama.
They worked together.
Putri, who was skilled at organizing, ensured the important items could be quickly packed.
Rizky mengecek perahu, memastikan semuanya siap.
Rizky checked the boat, making sure everything was ready.
Ketika akhirnya air menerobos masuk, keputusan Rizky sudah bulat.
When the water finally breached inside, Rizky's decision was firm.
"Putri, kita bawa semua ke perahu sekarang," katanya mantap.
"Putri, let's get everything on the boat now," he said decisively.
Efficiently, Putri and Rizky moved the belongings and then the entire family onto the boat.
In the midst of the rising water, they paddled with strength towards higher ground.
On the boat, as they left their home, Rizky turned to Putri, feeling grateful.
“Terima kasih, Putri. Kau benar-benar hebat.
“Thank you, Putri. You are truly amazing.
Sampai di aman, baru kita bisa tenang.”
Once we’re safe, then we can be at ease.”
Putri menggenggam tangan Rizky.
Putri held Rizky's hand.
“Kita akan baik-baik saja, Kak.
“We will be fine, brother.
Yang penting kita selamat.”
The most important thing is that we’re safe.”
Then, with combined efforts, they reached a safer place.
Rizky merasa lega.
Rizky felt relieved.
Dia kini mengerti betapa berharganya saling percaya dan bekerja sama.
He now understood the value of mutual trust and cooperation.
Although their house might not be saved, they were safe.
Dan itu yang paling penting.
And that was what mattered most.
In their new place, Rizky learned to see the world from Putri's perspective.
Optimisme dan kreativitasnya telah menyelamatkan mereka.
Her optimism and creativity had saved them.
While looking at their submerged hometown in the distance, Rizky knew that as long as they were together, there was hope, and a home would always be in their hearts.
