  • Az őszi nap lassan ereszkedett a város fölé.

The autumn sun slowly descended over the city.

  • A Halászbástya fehér kövei ragyogtak a narancsos fényben, miközben Bálint és Katalin csendesen sétáltak a bástya teraszain.

The white stones of the Halászbástya shone in the orange light as Bálint and Katalin walked quietly along the terraces of the bastion.

  • Budapest alattuk terült el, a Dunán ringatózó hajókkal és a lehulló, színes levelekkel gazdagítva a látványt.

Budapest lay beneath them, enriched by the sight of boats swaying on the Duna and falling, colorful leaves.

  • Bálint, a gyakorlatias és komoly báty, kíváncsian tekintett a testvérére.

Bálint, the practical and serious brother, looked curiously at his sister.

  • Katalin, az érzelmes nővér, lelkesen mesélt az apjukról.

Katalin, the emotional sister, enthusiastically talked about their father.

  • "Tudod, milyen sokszor jártunk itt gyerekkorunkban?

"Do you remember how many times we came here in our childhood?"

  • " kérdezte Katalin, miközben végighúzta ujjait a hideg kövön.

Katalin asked, as she ran her fingers along the cold stone.

  • "Igen, emlékszem," válaszolt Bálint szűkszavúan.

"Yes, I remember," replied Bálint curtly.

He just wanted to get it done quickly.

  • Apjuk utolsó kívánságát akarta teljesíteni hatékonyan és tisztelettel.

He wanted to fulfill their father's last wish efficiently and with respect.

  • Katalin azonban megállt egy pillanatra a bástya legfelső részén, ahol a kilátás a legszebb volt.

Katalin, however, paused for a moment at the top part of the bastion, where the view was the most beautiful.

"This was dad’s favorite place in the world," she said with tears in her eyes.

  • "Többször mondta, hogy itt szeretné látni a naplementét, főleg ősszel.

"He often said he wanted to see the sunset here, especially in autumn."

  • "Bálint unottan sóhajtott.

    Bálint sighed with boredom.

  • "Tudom, Katalin, de nem húzhatjuk ezt örökké.

"I know, Katalin, but we can't drag this out forever."

  • "Katalin halkan nevetett, az emlékektől meghatódva.

Katalin laughed softly, touched by the memories.

  • "Emlékszel arra az alkalomra, amikor apával esőtáncot jártunk itt?

"Do you remember the time we did a rain dance here with dad?

  • Mindenki minket nézett, de mi csak nevettünk.

Everyone was watching us, but we just laughed."

  • "Bálint nehezen titkolta mosolyát.

Bálint found it hard to hide his smile.

  • "Igen, emlékszem.

    "Yes, I remember.

  • Furcsa egy nap volt.

    It was a strange day."

  • "A nap már majdnem a látóhatár alá bukott, amikor Katalin megállt.

The sun was almost beneath the horizon when Katalin stopped.

  • "Kérlek, Bálint.

    "Please, Bálint.

  • Szeretnék egy kicsit még itt maradni.

I want to stay a little longer.

Let's say a prayer and then we can scatter the ashes."

  • "Bálint, aki eddig mereven ragaszkodott a tervhez, hirtelen megértette.

Bálint, who had rigidly stuck to the plan until now, suddenly understood.

Their love for their father was not only expressed in quick and precise actions but also in living in the moment.

  • "Rendben, Katalin," mondta, és helyet foglalt testvére mellett.

"All right, Katalin," he said, taking a seat next to his sister.

  • Ott ültek együtt, hallgatták a szelet, amely lágyan söpört végig a bástyán.

They sat there together, listening to the wind as it gently swept across the bastion.

  • Katalin keze Bálintéba csúszott, és együtt idézték fel a régi, kedves emlékeket, miközben a Dunában tükröződő fények végül elhalványultak.

Katalin's hand slid into Bálint's, and together they recalled old, dear memories as the lights reflecting on the Duna gradually faded.

When the time came, they carried out their task quietly but together.

As they scattered their father's ashes to the wind, they felt a new bond forming between them.

A bond based on their father's memory, the place, and the shared moments.

  • A nap teljesen eltűnt, de Bálint szívében új fény gyúlt.

The sun had completely disappeared, but a new light kindled in Bálint's heart.

He realized that alongside practicality, there was room for sentimentality too.

As the siblings left the bastion, the autumn wind carefully embraced them, reassuring us under the weight of memories and bringing the promise of a new beginning.
