Bálint and Zsófia listened to the crunch of falling leaves under their feet as they walked.

Autumn was everywhere: the trees' foliage donned vibrant yellow and deep red hues.

  • Margitsziget ilyenkor a legszebb, gondolta Bálint.

Margitsziget was at its most beautiful at this time, thought Bálint.

Beyond the Danube, the noise of Budapest was just a soft hum.

The sun's rays still warmly caressed their faces, but the chill of autumn was already in the air.

  • „Nézd, milyen gyönyörűek a levelek!

"Look, how beautiful the leaves are!"

  • ” – mutatott Zsófia mosolyogva egy hatalmas juharfára.

Zsófia pointed with a smile at a giant maple tree.

  • „Minden ősszel megcsodálom őket, mintha mindegyik új lenne.

"Every autumn I admire them as if each one were new."

  • ” Bálint elmosolyodott.

    Bálint smiled.

  • Zsófia mindig megtalálta a szépséget a legegyszerűbb dolgokban.

Zsófia always found beauty in the simplest things.

But Bálint's heart grew heavier with the troubles of the past weeks.

  • A sétányon rengeteg ember volt.

The promenade was crowded with people.

  • Együtt keresték az utolsó meleg napokat, mielőtt beköszönt a tél.

They sought the last warm days together before winter set in.

  • Bálint csak a zavarodottságát érezte.

    Bálint only felt his confusion.

What if the cold arrives not only in the weather but also in his life?

He knew changes were coming, but he didn’t know how to prepare for them.

  • Zsófia leült egy padra, magával húzva Bálintot.

Zsófia sat on a bench, pulling Bálint with her.

  • „Mesélj, mi bánt?

    "Tell me, what's bothering you?"

  • ” – nézett rá bátorítóan.

    she looked at him encouragingly.

  • Bálint sóhajtott és elnézett a naplemente irányába.

Bálint sighed and looked off in the direction of the sunset.

  • A lemenő nap vörösbe borította az eget.

The setting sun turned the sky red.

"Sometimes I feel like everything is changing around me, and I'm just trying to keep up," started Bálint.

  • „Nem tudom, mi legyen a következő lépés.

"I don’t know what the next step should be.

  • Félek attól, ami előttem áll.

I’m afraid of what lies ahead."

  • ”Zsófia csendben hallgatta.

    Zsófia listened silently.

  • Megértette, hogy Bálintnak szüksége van a támogatására.

She understood that Bálint needed her support.

  • „Emlékszel, mikor először sétáltunk itt?

"Do you remember the first time we walked here?

  • Akkor is rengeteg kérdésed volt.

You had many questions then too.

  • És együtt választ találtunk rájuk.

    And together, we found answers.

  • Nem minden változás rossz.

    Not every change is bad.

  • Nézd meg a természetet – minden évben új levelek nőnek, és minden új évszak más szépséggel jár.

Look at nature – every year, new leaves grow, and each new season brings different beauty."

  • ”Bálint elgondolkodott Zsófia szavain.

    Bálint pondered Zsófia's words.

  • Az ősz valóban gyönyörű volt.

    Autumn was truly beautiful.

  • Talán a változás nem is olyan ijesztő, ha arra gondol, milyen új dolgokat hozhat.

Perhaps change wasn't so frightening if he considered what new things it might bring.

  • Ahogy a nap utolsó sugara eltűnt a horizont mögött, Bálint mosolyogva nézett Zsófiára.

As the last ray of sunlight disappeared behind the horizon, Bálint looked at Zsófia with a smile.

  • „Igazad van.

    "You're right.

  • Köszönöm, hogy emlékeztettél erre.

Thank you for reminding me of this."

Then they continued their walk, and Bálint realized there was still time to enjoy the autumn colors before the cold winter came, and the approaching changes weren't necessarily bad.

  • A jelen pillanat, Zsófia társasága és a Margitsziget varázsa mind segítettek, hogy reménnyel nézzen a jövő felé.

The present moment, Zsófia's company, and the magic of Margitsziget all helped him look to the future with hope.
