Ljetno je popodne.

It's a summer afternoon.

U čekaonici zagrebačke bolnice Ivana, medicinska sestra, promatra posjetitelje.

In the waiting room of a Zagreb hospital, Ivana, a nurse, observes the visitors.

Zrak je ispunjen mirisom dezinfekcije i tihi šapat razgovora.

The air is filled with the scent of disinfectant and the quiet murmur of conversations.

Ivana radi dugačke smjene.

Ivana works long shifts.

Njena bijela odora savršeno je opeglana, ali u njoj se krije usamljenost.

Her white uniform is perfectly pressed, but it hides loneliness within.

Na drugom kraju sobe sjedi Marko.

At the other end of the room sits Marko.

Oči su mu uprte u pod, razmišljajući o bakinoj operaciji.

His eyes are fixed on the floor, thinking about his grandmother's surgery.

Osjećaj tjeskobe steže mu grlo.

A feeling of anxiety grips his throat.

Vani se nebo zamračilo.

Outside, the sky has darkened.

Ljetna oluja tek dolazi.

A summer storm is on its way.

Ivana promatra Marka.

Ivana watches Marko.

Njegovo lice odaje zabrinutost.

His face shows worry.

Donosi odluku.

She makes a decision.

Tijekom svoje pauze, umjesto da ode na kafeteriju, sjedne pored njega.

During her break, instead of going to the cafeteria, she sits next to him.

"Zdravo", kaže tiho, "Vidim da ste zabrinuti. Želite li razgovarati?"

"Hello," she says quietly, "I see you're worried. Would you like to talk?"

Marko podiže pogled.

Marko looks up.

Iznenađen je njenom prisutnošću, ali osjeća olakšanje.

He's surprised by her presence but feels relieved.

"Moja baka je tu, na operaciji. Teško je biti miran."

"My grandmother is here for surgery. It's hard to stay calm."

Ivana razumije.

Ivana understands.

Njen posao je težak, ali srce joj je puno suosjećanja.

Her job is tough, but her heart is full of compassion.

"Svaki dan vidim ovo. Liječnici dobro brinu o pacijentima."

"I see this every day. The doctors take good care of the patients."

Njihov razgovor postaje laganiji.

Their conversation becomes lighter.

Pričaju o bolnicama, o životu, čak o vremenu.

They talk about hospitals, about life, even about the weather.

Vanjski svijet se mijenja—počela je kiša, a oblaci skrivaju sunce.

The outside world changes—it has started to rain, and clouds hide the sun.

Usred razgovora, iznenada treperi struja.

In the middle of the conversation, the power suddenly flickers.

Svjetla se umalo gase.

The lights almost go out.

Ivana instinktivno dohvati Markovu ruku.

Ivana instinctively grabs Marko's hand.

Njegova toplina prenosi sigurnost.

His warmth conveys security.

Nešto klikne.

Something clicks.

Kiša tapka po prozorima, ali u tom trenu Ivana ne osjeća samo zvuk oluje.

The rain taps on the windows, but in that moment, Ivana doesn't just feel the sound of the storm.

Osjeća nešto više, nešto dublje.

She feels something more, something deeper.

"Ovo je... lijepo", kaže Marko tiho, još uvijek držeći njenu ruku. "Hvala vam."

"This is... nice," Marko says quietly, still holding her hand. "Thank you."

Ivana se nasmiješi.

Ivana smiles.

Prvi put nakon dugo vremena osjeća se povezanom.

For the first time in a long time, she feels connected.

"Možemo se naći izvan bolnice? Kad završi vaša baka s oporavkom?" predlaže s nadom.

"Can we meet outside the hospital? When your grandmother recovers?" she suggests hopefully.

Marko klimne.

Marko nods.

"Rado bih."

"I would like that."

Dogovorili su se vidjeti uskoro.

They agree to meet soon.

Njihove brige nisu potpuno nestale, ali nisu više tako teške.

Their worries haven't completely vanished, but they don't seem as heavy anymore.

U ovim trenucima našli su nešto snažno—prijateljstvo i mogućnost nečeg više.

In these moments, they found something strong—friendship and the possibility of something more.

Poslije oluje se nebo razvedri.

After the storm, the sky clears.

Ivana i Marko izlaze iz bolnice s osjećajem olakšanja, znajući da su pronašli nekoga tko razumije i tko pruža utjehu.

Ivana and Marko leave the hospital feeling relieved, knowing that they have found someone who understands and offers comfort.

U ljetnoj večeri prepuni su novih početaka, a možda i ljubavi.
