Dubrovnik leti blista pod toplim suncem.
Dubrovnik shines brightly under the warm sun.
Trg je živahan, ispunjen bojama i mirisima ljeta.
The square is lively, filled with the colors and scents of summer.
U zraku se osjeća aroma svježe mente i ružmarina.
In the air, there is the aroma of fresh mint and rosemary.
Ljudi se kreću među štandovima, smješkaju se, pregovaraju i razgovaraju.
People move around the stalls, smiling, negotiating, and chatting.
Ivana, marljiva kuharica, prolazi kroz gužvu.
Ivana, a diligent cook, walks through the crowd.
Nosi platnenu torbu, odlučna da pronađe najbolje domaće proizvode.
She carries a cloth bag, determined to find the best local produce.
Njezin restoran očekuje kritičara.
Her restaurant is expecting a critic.
Ona planira napraviti peka.
She plans to make peka.
Za to su joj potrebne sočne, crvene rajčice.
For that, she needs juicy, red tomatoes.
No, kad stigla do štanda s rajčicama, užasnula se.
However, when she arrived at the tomato stall, she was horrified.
Skoro svi su prodani.
Almost all were sold.
"Festival" šapće prodavačica slegnuvši ramenima.
"Festival," whispers the vendor, shrugging.
Ivana uzdahne.
Ivana sighs.
Uz štand stoji Marko, kupio je posljednju košaru rajčica.
Marko is standing by the stall; he bought the last basket of tomatoes.
Ivani srce brže kuca.
Ivana's heart beats faster.
Potrebuje te rajčice.
She needs those tomatoes.
Zagleda se u Marka, razmišljajući.
She stares at Marko, thinking.
On vidi njezinu tjeskobu.
He sees her anxiety.
"Oprosti," kaže Marko, "čini se da ti trebaju rajčice."
"Sorry," says Marko, "it seems that you need the tomatoes."
"O, da," odgovara Ivana, razmišljajući kako da pregovara.
"Oh, yes," answers Ivana, considering how to negotiate.
"Imam večeru večeras.
"I have a dinner tonight.
Dolazi važan kritičar."
An important critic is coming."
Marko se nasmiješi.
Marko smiles.
"Znači, peka?
"So, peka?
Volim peku.
I love peka.
Moja baka je pravila najbolju."
My grandmother made the best."
Ivana osjeti uvjerenje, ali i olakšanje.
Ivana feels conviction but also relief.
"Peka...
"Peka...
Može biti savršena.
It can be perfect.
Samo trebam pravi sastojak."
I just need the right ingredient."
Markova velikodušnost iznenadi je.
Marko's generosity surprises her.
"Možemo podijeliti," ponudi.
"We can share," he offers.
Njegova gesta topline prema njoj otvori srce.
His warm gesture opens her heart.
Dogovorili su se.
They agreed.
Ivana dobije dio njegovih rajčica, a zahvalnost joj preplavi lice.
Ivana gets a portion of his tomatoes, and gratitude floods her face.
"Hvala ti..." kaže mu iskreno, dok su razmijenili osmjehe.
"Thank you..." she says to him sincerely, as they exchange smiles.
Na povratku, Ivana osjeća snagu zajednice.
On her way back, Ivana feels the strength of the community.
Ponekad suradnja može prebroditi sve prepreke.
Sometimes cooperation can overcome all obstacles.
Naučila je da se uspjeh ne mjeri samo postignućem, nego i kako su ljudi uz tebe na tom putu.
She learned that success is measured not only by achievement but also by who is with you along the way.
I tako, s rajčicama u torbi i nadom u srcu, Ivana se vraća svom restoranu, spremna poslužiti večeru koja će spojiti ukus i srce.
And so, with tomatoes in her bag and hope in her heart, Ivana returns to her restaurant, ready to serve a dinner that will blend taste and heart.
