On the ground floor window of the room, there are flower pots that Milan, a well-known gardener in the neighborhood, has grown himself.

Although spring is coming to an end, when the sun shines through the leaves, a new energy can be felt in the air.

However, things are not as calm as they seem.

  • Milan, pažljiv promatrač i strastveni ljubitelj pravde, primijetio je čudnovate aktivnosti u svojoj četvrti.

Milan, a careful observer and passionate advocate for justice, noticed some strange activities in his neighborhood.

  • Nepoznati ljudi hodaju oko kuća, izgledaju sumnjivo.

Unknown people are walking around the houses, looking suspicious.

  • „Ne mogu samo gledati,” misli Milan odlučno.

"I can't just watch," Milan thinks decisively.

  • „To će biti opasno za nas sve.

"This will be dangerous for all of us."

  • ”Jednog toplog poslijepodneva, Milan ulazi u policijsku postaju.

One warm afternoon, Milan enters the police station.

The building is old and functional, with beige walls and busy police officers going about their duties.

  • Miris kave miješa se s prigušenim zvukovima telefonskih poziva.

The smell of coffee mixes with the muffled sounds of phone calls.

  • Milan prilazi šalteru, nesiguran, ali odlučan.

Milan approaches the counter, uncertain but determined.

  • "Izvolite, kako Vam možemo pomoći?

    "How can we help you?"

  • " upita visok policajac, gledajući preko naočala.

asks a tall police officer, looking over his glasses.

  • "Primijetio sam nešto sumnjivo u našem kvartu," kaže Milan.

"I've noticed something suspicious in our neighborhood," Milan says.

His voice is firm, but there's a hint of concern in his eyes.

"I think there's a gang nearby that's breaking into homes."

  • "Policajac podigne obrvu.

The police officer raises an eyebrow.

  • "Imate li dokaz?

    "Do you have any evidence?"

  • "Milan shvati da nema konkretnih dokaza.

Milan realizes he has no concrete evidence.

  • Samo sumnje.

    Only suspicions.

The conversation ends with a polite but vague: "We will get back to you."

  • "Nezadovoljan odgovorom, Milan se odlučuje poduzeti vlastite mjere.

Dissatisfied with the response, Milan decides to take matters into his own hands.

Over the next few days, he sneaks around the neighborhood, camera in hand, recording any suspicious details.

He fears encounters with burglars, but the thought of his neighbors' safety gives him strength.

  • Ana i Petar, njegovi bliski prijatelji, vide ga napetog i zabrinutog.

Ana and Petar, his close friends, see him tense and worried.

  • „Milane, što te muči?

    "Milan, what's bothering you?"

  • ” pita Ana zabrinuto.

    asks Ana with concern.

  • Milan kratko objasni situaciju.

    Milan briefly explains the situation.

Petar, who isn't fond of the idea of direct involvement, still supports his friend and advises caution.

  • „Samo pazi na sebe, Milane.

"Just take care of yourself, Milane."

  • ”Na kraju tjedna, Milan ima dovoljno dokaza.

By the end of the week, Milan has enough evidence.

  • Njegove fotografije i snimke jasno pokazuju lica nepoznatih ljudi kako ulaze u kuće i nose torbe.

His photographs and recordings clearly show the faces of unknown people entering homes and carrying bags.

  • Ponovno odlazi u policijsku postaju, sada mnogo sigurniji u sebe.

He goes back to the police station, now much more confident.

  • Kada predstavi svoje dokaze, reakcija policajaca je drugačija.

When he presents his evidence, the reaction of the police officers is different.

"That's something," says the police officer with the same glasses, now with more respect in his voice.

  • „Pokrenut ćemo istragu odmah.

"We will start an investigation immediately."

A month later, the members of the gang terrorizing the neighborhood are apprehended.

  • Milan osjeća olakšanje i ponos.

    Milan feels relieved and proud.

  • Njegov trud nije bio uzaludan.

    His effort wasn't in vain.

  • Susjedi ga sada gledaju s više poštovanja, a Milan postaje dio lokalne straže.

Neighbors now look at him with more respect, and Milan becomes part of the local watch.

He feels stronger, knowing he can make a difference.

  • Na kraju dana, sunce zalazi nad njegovim vrtom, a cvjetovi blistaju u posljednjim zrakama svjetla.

At the end of the day, the sun sets over his garden, and the flowers shine in the last rays of light.

Milan, happier than ever, knows that the safety of his community is worth every effort.
