Proljetno sunce nježno je grijalo Dolac tržnicu u Zagrebu.
The spring sun gently warmed the Dolac market in Zagreb.
Miris svježeg povrća i voća ispunjavao je zrak.
The air was filled with the scent of fresh vegetables and fruits.
Luka je s osmijehom krenuo stopama svoje sestre Marije.
Luka followed in the footsteps of his sister Marija with a smile.
Njih dvoje redovito su posjećivali tržnicu svake subote.
The two of them regularly visited the market every Saturday.
"Imaš plan, Luka?" upita Marija skeptično dok su prolazili pokraj štanda s jagodama.
"Do you have a plan, Luka?" asked Marija skeptically as they passed by a stall with strawberries.
Luka je bio odlučan. "Danas želim pripremiti nešto posebno," rekao je s entuzijazmom.
Luka was determined. "Today I want to prepare something special," he said enthusiastically.
Marija se nasmijala. "Znaš da volim naše tradicionalne recepte. Zašto mijenjati ono što je dobro?" Ali Luka je imao nešto novo u planu.
Marija laughed. "You know I love our traditional recipes. Why change what is good?" But Luka had something new in mind.
Kada su stigli do Ivaninog štanda, vesela prodavačica ih je već pozdravljala.
When they arrived at Ivana's stall, the cheerful vendor was already greeting them.
"Luka, Marija! Što vam danas treba?" upita Ivana, uvijek spremna pomoći.
"Luka, Marija! What do you need today?" asked Ivana, always ready to help.
Luka joj je objasnio svoju ideju o novom jelu.
Luka explained his idea for a new dish.
Ivana je s pažnjom slušala i predložila nekoliko neobičnih sastojaka.
Ivana listened attentively and suggested some unusual ingredients.
"Ovo je nova šparoga, svježa je stigla jutros. I ovo su egzotične gljive."
"This is new asparagus, it arrived fresh this morning. And these are exotic mushrooms."
Marija nije bila uvjerena. "Jesi li siguran? Možda bismo trebali ostati s našim poznatim receptima."
Marija was not convinced. "Are you sure? Maybe we should stick to our familiar recipes."
Luka je duboko udahnuo. "Vjeruj mi, Marija. Mislim da će ovo jelo biti izvanredno."
Luka took a deep breath. "Trust me, Marija. I think this dish will be extraordinary."
Na kraju, Luka je odlučio riskirati i kupiti nepoznate sastojke.
In the end, Luka decided to take a risk and bought the unfamiliar ingredients.
Ivana mu ih je s osmijehom spakirala. "Sretno, Luka. Sigurna sam da ćeš oduševiti sve."
Ivana packed them with a smile. "Good luck, Luka. I'm sure you'll impress everyone."
Navečer, kuhinjom se širio miris novih začina i prženja.
In the evening, the kitchen was filled with the aroma of new spices and frying.
Luka je pažljivo kuhao, dok je Marija promatrala sumnjičavo, ali radoznalo.
Luka cooked carefully, while Marija watched skeptically yet curiously.
Činilo se kao da je sve nekako kliknulo na svoje mjesto.
It seemed like everything somehow clicked into place.
Kada je sve bilo gotovo, Luka je ponosno poslužio jelo na obiteljski stol.
When everything was ready, Luka proudly served the dish on the family table.
Marija ga je oprezno kušala. Zatim se nasmiješila. "Ovo je... odlično! Nisam mogla zamisliti da će biti tako fino."
Marija tasted it cautiously. Then she smiled. "This is... excellent! I couldn't imagine it would be this tasty."
Luka je zablistao od ponosa. "Možda bih mogao češće kuhati za obitelj?" predložio je.
Luka beamed with pride. "Maybe I should cook for the family more often?" he suggested.
Marija se nasmijala. "Mislim da bi trebao. Sljedeći put ću donijeti priloge!"
Marija laughed. "I think you should. Next time, I'll bring the side dishes!"
U tom trenutku, Luka je znao da je postao sigurniji u svoje kulinarske vještine, a Marija je shvatila da su novi okusi ponekad baš ono što trebamo.
At that moment, Luka knew he had become more confident in his culinary skills, and Marija realized that new flavors are sometimes just what we need.
Dok su sjedili za stolom i uživali, tržnica Dolac već je planirala svoj slijedeći proljetni dan.
As they sat at the table and enjoyed their meal, the Dolac market was already planning its next spring day.
