धुंधलाती शाम के आलोक में, जब प्रकृति की सुंदरता अपने चरम पर होती है, तीन मित्र - रोहन, अनिका और कार्तिक - उत्तराखंड के पर्वतीय ट्रेकिंग कैंप में खड़े थे।

In the dimming evening light, when the beauty of nature is at its peak, three friends - Rohan, Anika, and Kartik - were standing in a trekking camp in the mountains of Uttarakhand.

यह दिवाली का खास अवसर था।

It was a special occasion of Diwali.

हवा में ठंडक और दूर घाटियों से आती दीये और पटाखों की आवाजों का संगम एक अद्भुत माहौल बना रहा था।

The chill in the air combined with the sound of lamps and firecrackers coming from the distant valleys created an amazing atmosphere.

रोहन अपने आदर्श शक्ति के साथ ट्रेक का नेतृत्व कर रहा था।

Rohan was leading the trek with his ideal strength.

उसका सपना था कि इस दिवाली वह दोस्तों के साथ पहाड़ की चोटी पर जाकर, बादलों के ऊपर दीप जलाए।

His dream was to go to the mountain peak this Diwali and light lamps above the clouds with his friends.

अनिका उसकी इस योजना का हिस्सा बनने के लिए तत्पर थी।

Anika was eager to be a part of his plan.

कार्तिक, हमेशा की तरह, हंसमुख और जोशीला था, लेकिन उसने यह सोचकर हिमालय की ऊँचाइयों को हल्के में ले लिया था।

Kartik, as usual, was cheerful and spirited, but he had underestimated the heights of the Himalayas.

As the crunchy carpet of fallen leaves rustled under their feet, it reminded them of life's fleeting but precious moments.

However, as the altitude increased, Kartik's condition began to worsen.

वह बार-बार रुक जाता और गहरी सांसें लेता।

He kept stopping and taking deep breaths.

रोहन का चेहरा चिंता में डूब गया, जबकि अनिका ने कार्तिक का हाथ थामकर उसे साहारा दिया।

Rohan's face was filled with worry while Anika held Kartik's hand to support him.

"अब क्या करें?" अनिका ने रोहन से पूछा। "कार्तिक की हालत सही नहीं लग रही।"

"What should we do now?" Anika asked Rohan. "Kartik's condition doesn't seem right."

रोहन अपने मन की उलझन में था।

Rohan was caught in a dilemma.

निर्देश पुस्तिका में लिखा था कि अगर ऊँचाई पर किसी को बीमारी हो तो तुरंत नीचे उतर जाना चाहिए।

The instruction manual said that if someone falls ill at high altitude, they should descend immediately.

लेकिन उसकी आँखों में अभी भी चोटी पर दिवाली मनाने का सपना था।

But his eyes still held the dream of celebrating Diwali at the peak.

"रोहन, कार्तिक की सेहत सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है," अनिका ने दृढ़ता से कहा। "हम फिर कभी भी यहाँ आ सकते हैं। लेकिन अब हमें कार्तिक की मदद करनी होगी।"

"Rohan, Kartik's health is most important," Anika said firmly. "We can always come back here again, but right now, we need to help Kartik."

अंततः, निर्णय लेने का समय आ गया।

Ultimately, the time came to make a decision.

सूर्य जल्दी ही पहाड़ियों के पीछे छिपने वाला था, और कार्तिक की हालत सुधरने की जगह बिगड़ रही थी।

The sun was soon to hide behind the hills, and Kartik's condition was deteriorating instead of improving.

रोहन ने भारी मन से निर्णय लिया।

Rohan made the heavy-hearted decision.

"हम नीचे उतरते हैं। कार्तिक की सेहत पहले है। दोस्ती की बात ही कुछ और है।"

"We are descending. Kartik's health comes first. Friendship indeed is something else."

नीचे उतरने के बाद, जब वह सुरक्षित स्थान पर पहुँच गए, तब तक कार्तिक की तबीयत में सुधार आने लगा था।

After descending, when they reached a safe spot, Kartik's condition began to improve.

उन्होंने एक खाली जगह चुनकर वहाँ पर दिवाली मनाने की तैयारी की।

They selected an open space to celebrate Diwali.

अनिका ने झिलमिलाते फूलझड़ियाँ निकालीं और रोहन ने छोटी-छोटी मिठाइयाँ बांटीं।

Anika brought out sparkling sparklers, and Rohan distributed small sweets.

फूलझड़ियों की रोशनी में, तीनों ने एक-दूसरे की ओर देखा।

In the light of the sparklers, the three of them looked at each other.

उस पल में रोहन ने समझा कि यात्रा और संगति का महत्व मंजिल से कहीं अधिक है।

In that moment, Rohan realized that the importance of the journey and companionship is far greater than the destination.
