The festival of Diwali was in full swing.

हर कोई दीयों की रोशनी और आतिशबाजी के रंग-बिरंगे प्रकाश में डूबा हुआ था।

Everyone was immersed in the light of the diyas and the colorful display of fireworks.

इसी माहौल में आलोक, अपने कैमरे के साथ, उन खास पलों को कैद करने की कोशिश में लगे थे।

In this atmosphere, Alok, with his camera, was trying to capture those special moments.

आलोक एक युवा फोटोग्राफर था।

Alok was a young photographer.

दिवाली के हर पल को अपने लेंस के भीतर कैद करके प्रतिष्ठित फोटोग्राफी प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेना चाहता था।

He wanted to capture every moment of Diwali through his lens to participate in a prestigious photography competition.

लेकिन फोटोग्राफी के इस जुनून में वह कहीं अपनी दोस्त वंदना की बातों को अनदेखा कर रहा था।

But in this passion for photography, he was somewhat ignoring his friend Vandana's conversations.

वंदना चाहती थी कि आलोक उसके साथ कुछ समय बिताए, उसकी कहानियों को सुने और उनमें छुपे विचारों का सम्मान करे।

Vandana wanted Alok to spend some time with her, to listen to her stories, and to respect the thoughts hidden within them.

वंदना का चचेरा भाई, रोहन, गोवा में रहता था।

Vandana's cousin, Rohan, lived in Goa.

This time, he wanted to revive his family's traditional Diwali and had arranged the traditional worship of Thakurji.
