भीगती हुई सुबह थी।

It was a rainy morning.

बारिश की बूँदें खिड़की की शीशों पर नाच रही थीं, और अनाथालय के अंदर गर्माहट का एहसास था।

Raindrops danced on the window panes, and inside the orphanage, there was a feeling of warmth.

दीवारें बच्चों के चित्रों से सजी थीं।

The walls were adorned with children's drawings.

अरजुन, एक आठ साल का लड़का, खिड़की के पास बैठा बाहर देख रहा था।

Arjun, an eight-year-old boy, sat by the window looking outside.

उसकी टांग टूटी हुई थी और प्लास्टर में लिपटी थी।

रवि, अनाथालय के देखभालकर्ता, अपनी पहचान मे सहृदयता के लिए जाने जाते थे।

Ravi, the caretaker of the orphanage, was known for his kindness.

वह जानते थे कि सभी बच्चे अंदर से क्या महसूस करते हैं।

उन्होंने अरजुन के दिल की चाह को समझते हुए कहा, “तुम क्यों नहीं एक सुंदर सी राखी बना लेते हो?”

अरजुन का चेहरा चमक उठा।

उसने तुरंत रंगीन धागे और मोतियों से एक खूबसूरत राखी बनाई।

रक्षाबंधन का दिन आया।

मौसम भीग रही थी और बाहर के बगीचे में पानी भर चुका था।

सभी बच्चे उत्सव में मग्न थे।

All the children were engrossed in the celebrations.

अरजुन को लगा कि उसकी चाह अधूरी रह जाएगी।

Arjun felt that his wish would remain unfulfilled.

तभी माया उसके पास आई और अरजुन द्वारा बनाई गई राखी को पहना, मुस्कुराते हुए उसने कहा, "क्या तुम मेरी रक्षा करोगे, भाई?"

Just then, Maya came to him, wearing the rakhi he had made, and smiling, she asked, "Will you protect me, brother?"

अरजुन की आंखें भर आईं।

Arjun's eyes filled with tears.
