From above, thick clouds were pouring, and there was a faint aroma of rain in the air.

यह मेरी मुंबई का एक रंगीन बाज़ार था, जहाँ हर कोने पर हंसी-खुशी का माहौल था, लेकिन आज का माहौल और भी खास था।

This was a colorful market in Mumbai, where there was an atmosphere of laughter and happiness at every corner, but today's atmosphere was even more special.

और क्यों न हो, यह मानसून का मौसम जो था।

And why not, it was the monsoon season after all.

राज हमेशा से बारिश का दीवाना रहा है।

राज has always been a fan of the rain.

उसे बारिश में भीगना बड़ा पसंद था, लेकिन आज उसे बाज़ार से कुछ सब्जियाँ खरीदनी थीं।

He loved getting drenched in the rain, but today he had to buy some vegetables from the market.

जैसे ही वह अपने घर से निकलने वाला था, उसकी माँ ने कहा, "छाता ले लेना वरना भीग जाओगे।

Just as he was about to leave his house, his mother said, "Take an umbrella, or you'll get wet."

" पर राज कहाँ सुनने वाला था।

But राज wasn't one to listen.

हँसी-खुशी में वह छाता लेकर तो भूल ही गया।

In his cheerful mood, he forgot to take the umbrella.

बाजार में पहुँचते ही चारों ओर छतरियों का समुद्र नजर आया।

As soon as he reached the market, there was a sea of umbrellas everywhere.

लोग जल्दी-जल्दी अपने कामों में व्यस्त थे।

People were busy hurrying through their tasks.

कहीं सब्जियों की महक थी, तो कहीं मसालों की।

The aroma of vegetables was coming from one direction, and the scent of spices from another.

राज को इस चहल-पहल वाला माहौल बहुत पसंद था।

राज loved this hustle and bustle atmosphere.

उसकी निगाहें अचानक मीरा की स्टॉल की ओर गई।

His eyes suddenly were drawn towards मीरा's stall.

मीरा एक प्यारी दुकानदार थी, जिसकी मुस्कान से ही राज का दिल बाग़-बाग़ हो जाता था।

मीरा was a lovely shopkeeper, whose smile could light up राज's heart.

राज और मीरा की दोस्ती अब तक बस अभिवादन तक ही सिमटी हुई थी।

राज and मीरा's friendship had until now been limited to greetings.

राज ने सोचा, "कितना अच्छा होता अगर मैं मीरा के पास जाकर कुछ बात कर पाता।

राज thought, "How nice it would be if I could go and talk to मीरा."

"अचानक तेज़ बारिश होने लगी और राज का ध्यान उस बिन छाते के सिलसिले पर आया।

Suddenly, it started raining heavily, and राज remembered his lack of an umbrella.

वह सोच में पड़ गया कि अब क्या करे।

He pondered over what to do next.

तभी उसे एक मजेदार आइडिया आया।

Then a funny idea came to him.

वह सोचा, "चलो, आज देखते हैं कि मेरी दिलचस्प बातें किसी के दिल को कितना हंसा सकती हैं।

He thought, "Let's see today how my interesting conversations can make someone laugh."

"पहले उसने एक फलवाले से छाता मांगी, जिसे सुनकर फलवाले ने हंसते हुए कहा, "भीगने का सबसे अच्छा तरीका है खुद को बारिश के हवाले करना।

First, he asked a fruit seller for an umbrella, to which the fruit seller laughed and said, "The best way to enjoy getting wet is to surrender to the rain yourself."

" अगले मोड़ पर एक और अनजान महिला से मदद मांगी, जिसने बड़े ही सौम्य शब्दों में कहा, "बरसात कभी किसी का इंतज़ार नहीं करती, बेहतर है कि दौड़ो!

At the next turn, he asked another unknown woman for help, who said in very gentle words, "Rain waits for no one, it's better to run!"

"फिर अचानक से एक तेज़ मोटरसाइकिल पास से गुज़री और पानी का छपाका राज के ऊपर गिरा।

Then suddenly, a fast motorcycle passed by and splashed water all over राज.

लगभग गिरते हुए वह सीधा मीरा के स्टॉल के पास जा पहुँचा और उसके ख़ास दुकान के बर्तन नीचे गिरा दिए।

Nearly stumbling, he ended up near मीरा's stall and knocked over her special shop's pots.

मीरा ने उबाऊ चीख के साथ अपनी और उसके बेचने के सामान की हालत देखी।

मीरा let out a tedious scream upon seeing her and her goods' condition.

लेकिन उसने हंसते हुए कहा, "लगता है पानी का भी तुम पर ही क्रश है।

But she laughed and said, "Seems like even the water has a crush on you."

" राज शर्मिंदा होते हुए हंस पड़ा।

राज blushed and laughed.

मीरा ने उसे एक तौलिया और छाता दिया।

मीरा gave him a towel and an umbrella.

दोनों के बीच हंसी-मज़ाक शुरू हो गया और बातों का सिलसिला बढ़ता गया।

A playful banter started between them, and the flow of conversation increased.

वो दिन राज के लिए खास बन गया क्योंकि आज उसने दोस्ती का एक नया रिश्ता पाया।

That day became special for राज because today he found a new friendship.

इस बारिश ने उसे यह सिखाया कि कभी-कभी छोटी सी भूल भी जीवन में नया रंग भर देती है।

This rain taught him that sometimes a small mistake can fill life with new colors.

राज की ज़िंदगी अब उसे और भी रोमांचक लगी।

राज's life now seemed even more exciting to him.

And he learned that whether it's rain or sunshine, it's important to enjoy every moment.
