गली में आज बहुत ही रंगीन माहौल था।

नीले आकाश में रंग-बिरंगी पतंगें लहरा रही थीं।

बच्चों की हंसी और प्रतियोगियों के उत्साह से गली का हर कोना गूंज रहा था।

The laughter of children and the excitement of the competitors echoed in every corner of the lane.

अरुण की आंखों में चमक थी।

Arun’s eyes were sparkling.

वह पतंग उड़ाने में इतना मशगूल था कि उसे लगता था एक बार उसकी पतंग सबसे ऊपर जाए, तो वह निश्चित रूप से मीरा को प्रभावित करेगा।

Arun let the kite fly into the air.

लेकिन कुछ ही देर में उसकी पतंग किसी और की पतंग के डोर में उलझ गई।

But soon, his kite got tangled with another’s kite string.

अरुण ने धागा खींचा, लेकिन पतंग वहीं फँस कर रह गई।

Arun pulled on the thread, but the kite stayed stuck.

"कोई बात नहीं," अरुण ने कहा, "हम दुबारा कोशिश करते हैं।

"No problem," Arun said, "let's try again."

"हर बार जब अरुण ने पतंग उड़ाई, किसी न किसी पतंग के साथ उलझ जाती।

Every time Arun flew the kite, it would get caught with another kite.

मीरा कभी-कभी उसे रोकती, "कोई बात नहीं, अरुण।

Sometimes, Meera would stop him, "No problem, Arun.

बस हम मज़ा ले रहे हैं।

We are just enjoying ourselves."

"लेकिन अरुण हार मानने वालों में नहीं था।

But Arun was not one to give up.

"इस बार ज़रूर कुछ अलग होगा," उसने ठान लिया।

"Something different will surely happen this time," he resolved.

आखिरकार, अरुण ने एक बार फिर से नया धागा पकड़ा और पतंग को हवा में छोड़ा।

Finally, Arun grabbed a new thread once again and let the kite fly into the air.

इस बार उनकी पतंग कुछ ही क्षण के लिए शानदार ढंग से उड़ी, लेकिन फिर एक बड़ी पतंग आकर उससे उलझ गई।

This time, their kite flew magnificently for a few moments, but then a bigger kite came along and got tangled with it.

वह पल अद्भुत था।

The moment was wonderful.

अरुण और मीरा दोनों ज़ोर से हंस पड़े।

Both Arun and Meera burst out laughing.

आखिरकार, अरुण को यह एहसास हुआ कि पतंगबाज़ी से ज्यादा मीरा के साथ बिताया गया समय और हंसता-मुस्कुराता माहौल अधिक महत्वपूर्ण था।

"देखो, मीरा," अरुण ने हंसते हुए कहा, "आज हम काइट प्रतियोगिता में नहीं जीते, मगर हमने ढेर सारा मज़ा किया।

"Look, Meera," Arun said with a laugh, "today we didn’t win the kite contest, but we had so much fun."

"मीरा ने मुस्कुराते हुए अरुण की तरफ देखा, "यही असली जीत है, अरुण।

Meera smiled at Arun, "That is the true victory, Arun."

"इस तरह, पतंग की उलझनों के बीच, अरुण ने कुछ नया सीखा—जीवन का असली आनंद प्रतियोगिता में नहीं, बल्कि साथ बिताए पलों में है।
