चांदनी चौक की भीड़-भाड़ भरी गलियों में सर्द हवा की हल्की फुहार थी।

A light mist of cold air filled the crowded lanes of Chandni Chowk.

दुकानदार अपनी-अपनी दुकानों के बाहर खड़े होकर ग्राहकों को लुभा रहे थे।

Shopkeepers stood outside their shops trying to attract customers.

आवाजें चारों तरफ गूँज रही थीं, "आओ भैया, सस्ता लहंगा देख लो!

Voices echoed all around, "Come, brother, see the inexpensive lehenga!"

" इसी बाज़ार में, आरव, प्रिय, और तन्वी अपने लिए शादी के कपड़े लेने पहुंचे थे।

In this market, Aarav, Priya, and Tanvi had come to shop for wedding clothes.

आरव थोड़ा चंचल था।

Aarav was a bit mischievous.

उसे पक्का यकीन था कि वह अपनी बहन प्रिय को सबसे अच्छा शादी का जोड़ा दिलवाकर ही दम लेगा।

He was determined to get his sister Priya the best wedding outfit.

दूसरी तरफ प्रिय थी, जिसे अपना बेस्ट दिखना था पर उसके लिए बजट का ध्यान भी रखना था।

On the other hand, Priya wanted to look her best but also had to keep the budget in mind.

उसके साथ उसकी सहेली तन्वी थी, जो हमेशा फैशन में एक कदम आगे रहती थी।

With her was her friend Tanvi, who always stayed one step ahead in fashion.

"देख प्रिय, ये वाला लहंगा कितना खूबसूरत है," तन्वी ने एक सिल्वर लहंगे की तरफ इशारा करते हुए कहा।

"Look Priya, how beautiful this lehenga is," Tanvi said, pointing to a silver lehenga.

प्रिय ने मुस्कराते हुए कहा, "हां, खूबसूरत है लेकिन बजट थोड़ा ज़्यादा हो जाएगा।

Priya smiled and said, "Yes, it's beautiful, but it might exceed the budget a bit."

"भीड़ में चलते-चलते, प्रिय का सिर घूमने लगा।

As they moved through the crowd, Priya began to feel dizzy.

हर दुकान पर सुन्दर-सुन्दर कपड़े लटक रहे थे।

Beautiful clothes hung in every store.

लेकिन हर बार दाम सुनकर वह थोड़ा निराश हो जाती।

But every time she heard the price, she felt a bit disappointed.

आरव कभी-कभी कहता, "दीदी, सामान का दाम कम करवा लेंगे!

Aarav would sometimes say, "Sister, we'll bargain on the price!"

"जब प्रिय की आँखों में थोड़ी सी निराशा झलकने लगी, तभी उन्होंने एक छोटी सी दुकान देखी।

When a hint of disappointment reflected in Priya's eyes, they saw a small shop.

वहाँ एक बहुत ही सुन्दर लाल लहंगा टंगा हुआ था।

A very beautiful red lehenga was hanging there.

यह लहंगा उसकी पसंद के अनुसार था और दुकानदार के मुताबिक यह आखिरी पीस था।

It was exactly to her liking, and according to the shopkeeper, it was the last piece.

प्रिय ने हिम्मत कर के दाम पूछ लिया।

Priya mustered the courage to ask for the price.

दाम सुनकर वह एक पल के लिए रुक गई, लेकिन तन्वी ने तुरंत कहा, "भैया, थोड़ा कम कर दीजिए।

Hearing the price, she paused for a moment, but Tanvi immediately said, "Brother, lower the price a bit.

हम अच्छे ग्राहक हैं!

We are good customers!"

"थोड़ी-बहुत मोल-भाव के बाद, दुकानदार ने दाम वहीं तय कर दिया और प्रिय ने उसे खरीद लिया।

After some bargaining, the shopkeeper set the price, and Priya bought it.

प्रिय की आँखों में संतोष और ख़ुशी की चमक थी।

There was a gleam of satisfaction and happiness in Priya's eyes.

उसके पास अब वह लहंगा था जिसे पहनकर वह शादी में सबकी नज़रों में चमक सकती थी।

She now had the lehenga in which she could shine in the wedding.

इस अनुभव के बाद प्रिय ने समझा कि धैर्य के साथ प्रयास करने पर, सही चीज़ मिल ही जाती है।

From this experience, Priya learned that with patience, the right thing can be found.

चांदनी चौक की गलियों से निकलते हुए, तीनों के चेहरों पर जीत की मुस्कान थी।

As they left the lanes of Chandni Chowk, all three had smiles of triumph on their faces.
