נדב ישב במיטה, מביט דרך החלון ומקשיב לשקט של הבוקר המוקדם.

Nadav sat on the bed, looking out the window and listening to the quiet of the early morning.

He gently moved his hand over the bandage on his stomach, which still bothered him from the minor surgery he had undergone.

Meanwhile, Yael had already prepared the backpack with water and snacks.

"Nadav, I'm worried about you," she said gently.

"אתה בטוח שאתה מוכן לטפס למעלה?

"Are you sure you're ready to climb up?"

" נדב חייך אליה.

Nadav smiled at her.

"אני בטוח.

"I'm sure.

אני חייב לראות את הזריחה ממסדה.

I have to see the sunrise from Masada.

זה יהיה הסמל שלי להחלמה.

It will be my symbol of recovery."

They drove together to the desert, where the landscape revealed itself in all its glory.

Yael smiled, "I feel it too, but please, don't push yourself too hard."

"כשהגיעו לחלק האחרון והקשה של הטיפוס, נדב הרגיש כאב חד.

When they reached the last and difficult part of the climb, Nadav felt a sharp pain.

He stopped, took a deep breath, and looked at Yael.
