"Noa, I don't know what to choose," I uttered a word of despair.

Every dress seemed unsuitable.

ואז היא הקרינה.

Then she lit up.

"תנסי את זאת," הציעה נועה, מחזיקה שמלה בצבע ירוק מבריק שהייתה שונה מכל מה שדמיינתי.

"Try this one," Noa suggested, holding a shiny green dress that was different from anything I had imagined.

"Gleaming" בערה לי בעיניים כשמדדתי אותה.

"Gleaming" burned in my eyes as I tried it on.

התבוננתי במראה, ונועה חייכה אליי מאחוריי.

I looked in the mirror, and Noa smiled at me from behind.

"זו את," אמרה.

"It's you," she said.

Something inside allowed me to believe her.

I paid for the dress and we left the store.

The street was filled with the daylight of late spring, and I felt light and happy.
