The village was magical in the autumn season, with leaves resting on the ground as if they were a carpet of nature.

אורי, חדש בכפר, יצא החוצה והביט סביבו.

Ori, new to the village, stepped outside and looked around.

So he approached Noa, his old friend in the village.

נועה ישבה על ספסל עץ קטנטן, מתבוננת בנוף.

@Noa was sitting on a tiny wooden bench, gazing at the view.

"שלום, נועה," אמר אורי בחיוך חם.

"Hello, Noa," Ori said with a warm smile.

"חשבתי אולי נוכל לצאת לטיול בהר.

"I thought maybe we could go for a hike in the mountains.

העלים כל כך יפים בעונה הזו.

The leaves are so beautiful this season."

"נועה, שהתעסקה בימים האחרונים במחשבותיה על יום כיפור הקרב, היססה.

@Noa, who had been preoccupied in recent days with her thoughts about the upcoming Yom Kippur, hesitated.

"Ori," she began, "Yom Kippur is soon.

"But maybe we can combine the two?

"נועה חשבה על זה לרגע.

@Noa considered this for a moment.

היא הבינה שלפעמים החברות והטבע יכולים להביא את השקט והמחשבה שהיא מחפשת.

She realized that sometimes friendship and nature could bring the peace and thoughtfulness she was seeking.

"זה רעיון טוב, אורי," היא השיבה.

"That's a good idea, Ori," she replied.

ביום הטיול, השניים התקדמו בין העצים הגבוהים, צבעים של זהב וכתום סביבם.

On the day of the hike, the two moved among the tall trees, surrounded by colors of gold and orange.

On the long trail, they talked about everything, sharing their dreams and fears.
