The landscapes of Tel Aviv unfolded at the foot of the skyscrapers, a world that sometimes seemed gray and alienated.

אך בראש אחד מגורדי השחקים האלו, נחה בפינת גן מטופח, הייתה נועה.

But at the top of one of these skyscrapers, nestled in a corner of a well-manicured garden, was Noa.

זה היה היום הראשון לתיכון, יום שכל כך חששה ממנו.

It was the first day of high school, a day she was very anxious about.

השמיים היו כחולים, אך עננים אפורים התחילו להתקבץ.

The skies were blue, but gray clouds began to gather.

Amid the bustle of orientation, Noa felt lost.

The voices around her were too loud, the faces too unfamiliar.

She just wanted a quiet place to draw.

In silence, she took the elevator to the rooftop.

שם, בתוך הירק של העציצים והפרחים, מצאה סוף סוף שקט.

There, amid the greenery of the pots and flowers, she finally found peace.

כשרק נשמה עמוקות כדי להירגע, שמעה קול.

Just as she took a deep breath to relax, she heard a voice.

"גם לך נמאס מהרעש?

"Are you fed up with the noise too?"

" זו הייתה מאיה.

It was Maya.

היא הייתה בחורה עם עיניים בורקות וחיוך חם.

She was a girl with sparkling eyes and a warm smile.

לצידה עמד איתן, נער גבוה שהתבונן בעיר למטה.

Beside her stood Eitan, a tall boy gazing at the city below.

"בדיוק מה שאני צריך כדי לברוח", הוסיף.

"Exactly what I need to escape," he added.

השלושה ישבו יחד, כל אחד עם עצמו, אך בכל זאת ביחד.

The three sat together, each one with their own thoughts, but still together.

הפחדים והלחצים נראו לפתע רחוקים.

The fears and stresses suddenly seemed distant.

ואז, ברגע אחד, הרוח התגברה, והגשם התחיל לזרוק עלים ומים לכל עבר.

Then, in a moment, the wind picked up, and the rain began to scatter leaves and water everywhere.

בשלוליות שנוצרו, מצאו עצמם השלושה מחפשים מחסה מתחת לפרגולה קטנה.

In the puddles that formed, the three found themselves seeking shelter under a small pergola.

"אני תמיד בלחץ באירועים כאלה", הודתה מאיה.

"I'm always stressed at events like this," admitted Maya.

"גם אני", הוסיף איתן, מחייך.

"Me too," added Eitan, smiling.

"העיר הזו כל כך גדולה, ונראה שכולם יודעים מה הם עושים.

"This city is so big, and it seems like everyone knows what they're doing.

חוץ מאיתנו, כנראה.

Except us, apparently."

"נועה חשה הקלה.

Noa felt relieved.

היא לא לבד.

She wasn't alone.

הם דיברו על סרטים, על מוסיקה ואפילו על מקומות אהובים בעיר.

They talked about movies, music, and even favorite places in the city.

הגשם נעצר, והשמיים שוב הפכו כחולים.

The rain stopped, and the skies turned blue again.

כשחזרו לחדר האוריינטציה, שם הפעילות נמשכה, נועה הרגישה אחרת.

When they returned to the orientation room, where the activity continued, Noa felt different.

היא לא הרגישה לבד.

She didn't feel alone.

עם מאיה ואיתן לצידה, העולם נראה פחות מפחיד.

With Maya and Eitan by her side, the world seemed less daunting.

היא הסכימה עם עצמה שהפעם, הכל יהיה בסדר.

She agreed with herself that this time, everything would be all right.

הם יחד נכנסו לחדר, והיום שהתחיל במתח וסערה, הסתיים עם חברים חדשים וביטחון מחודש.

They entered the room together, and the day that began with tension and turmoil ended with new friends and renewed confidence.

נועה ידעה שעשתה את הצעד הראשון לכיוון הנכון.

Noa knew she had taken the first step in the right direction.
