The morning on the shores of the Kinneret was full of hope and calm.

The family of Miriam, Ayelet, and her son Eitan set up a small camp.

Miriam spread out a large blanket near the water, and the children played nearby.

A light spring breeze blew, and the nearby bonfire, remnants from the Lag Ba'Omer celebrations, emitted a pleasant smoky scent.

Miriam always knew how to keep her family safe.

כיוון שעיניה סקרו את האופק, היא הבחינה בעננים כהים מאיימים במרחק.

As her eyes scanned the horizon, she noticed ominous dark clouds in the distance.

היא ידעה שסערה מתקרבת.

She knew a storm was approaching.

"ילדים, אתם מתקרבים אליי," קראה בקול יציב.

"Children, come closer to me," she called out steadily.

אבל איתן, צעיר ונחוש להראות את אומץ ליבו, הביט אל האופק באופטימיות תמימה.

But Eitan, young and determined to show his bravery, looked at the horizon with innocent optimism.

"אמא, אני יכול לגלות מקום שתהיה מחסה," אמר, גאה בעצמו.

"Mom, I can find a place for shelter," he said, proud of himself.

ליאורה, אחותו הקטנה, התקרבה אליה, מגששת בידה.

Leora, his younger sister, came closer, feeling her way with her hand.

"אימא, אני חוששת," היא לחשה.

"Mom, I'm afraid," she whispered.

"הכול יהיה בסדר," ענתה מרים ברכות.

"Everything will be okay," Miriam answered gently.

"חשוב שנישאר יחד.

"It's important we stay together."

But Eitan wanted to prove himself, and in a moment of reckless courage, he went out into the strong wind to look for a safer place.

הסערה התגברה במהירות.

The storm quickly intensified.

הרוח נשבה בעוצמה והגשם התחיל לרדת כבד.

The wind blew fiercely and the rain began to pour heavily.

המים הסתחררו ליד השביל.

The water swirled next to the path.

מרים אספה את ליאורה והחליטה שהן חייבות למצוא מחסה לפני שייראו באופק הגבעות שמאחוריהן.

Miriam gathered Leora and decided they needed to find shelter before the hills behind them became visible in the horizon.

בעודה חובקת את ליאורה, ניסתה מרים להביט סביב ולראות לאן הלך איתן.

While embracing Leora, Miriam tried to look around and see where Eitan had gone.

הסופה הרועמת הקשתה עליה.

The roaring storm made it difficult for her.

"איתן!

"Eitan!"

she called out, but the thunder drowned her voice.

They found a safe haven under a large tree that offered them some protection from the rain.

Leora shivered, and Miriam hugged her warmly.

As the skies began to calm and the raindrops became rarer, she knew she needed to find Eitan.

When the family reunited, Eitan learned the true value of family and caution.

Miriam, on the other hand, learned that she could trust them, albeit with proper guidance.

The waters gently touched the sand once more, reflecting tranquillity.

והמשפחה, יחד עם לקחי היום, הלכה הביתה, מאוחדת וחזקה מתמיד.

And the family, along with the lessons of the day, went home, united and stronger than ever.
