Leah looked out the window at the vast dunes.

Her father always told her that one must see the beauty in the desert, even though the land is so barren.

Miriam, a friend of her father and Eliyahu, offered to give her some special seeds that a friend had brought her from abroad.

One day, as she sat on the bench facing the quiet landscape, she contemplated new ways to cultivate the harsh soil.

Suddenly, a rare rain fell, as if the clouds had heard her prayers.

Leah did not hesitate and called to Eliyahu and Miriam, "The time has come! Let’s plant now!"

באמצע הלילה, עם פנסים בידיהם, הם עבדו יחד.

In the middle of the night, with flashlights in their hands, they worked together.

Finally, as if emerging from a fairy tale, a small sunflower leaf appeared.

Leah was filled with joy.

She managed to break through the pain and frustration of the long weeks with a strong seed of life.

She knew this was just the beginning.

With a loving community and a lot of patience, she would continue to try and create the magical garden in the desert, just as her father wanted.

Leah learned something important: when we all work together, we can overcome many obstacles.

The sunflower that looked up at the sun was a warm memory of her father, and she would continue to plant by his side.
