Katseensa päättäväisenä, Eero teki päätöksen.

With a determined look, Eero made a decision.

"Aion uida," hän sanoi yllättäen.

"I’m going to swim," he said unexpectedly.

Aino katsoi häntä yllättyneenä.

Aino looked at him, surprised.

"Oletko varma?"

"Are you sure?"

"Olen," Eero vastasi lujasti.

"I am," Eero replied firmly.

Tämä oli se hetki.

Hän seisoi, otti kyynärsauvat, ja tunsi Aino tukevan häntä.

He stood up, took the crutches, and felt Aino supporting him.

Varovasti hän astui alas laituriin.

Carefully, he stepped down to the dock.

Eero tunsi itsensä kokonaiseksi, ehkä ensi kertaa pitkään aikaan.

Eero felt whole, perhaps for the first time in a long time.

Ystävyys ja hetket olivat tärkeitä.
