The sleigh driver, named Matti, beckons them closer.

"Tulkaa, kaikki on valmiina", hän sanoo.

"Come on, everything is ready," he says.

Lapset nousevat rekeen ja peittyvät lämpimiin huopiin.

The children climb into the sleigh and cover themselves with warm blankets.

The sleigh starts moving, and the reindeer pull it deeper into the forest.

Liisa feels her cold nose, but she is happy.

Yhtäkkiä porot pysähtyvät.

Suddenly, the reindeer stop.

Matti nousee reestä ja katsoo eteenpäin.

Matti gets out of the sleigh and looks ahead.

"Tässä on hyvä paikka", hän sanoo.

"This is a good spot," he says.

"Voitte katsella maisemaa."

"You can enjoy the view."

Aino, Jussi ja Liisa nousevat varovasti reestä.

Aino, Jussi, and Liisa carefully get out of the sleigh.

He kävelevät pehmeässä lumessa ja hengittävät syvään raikasta ilmaa.

They walk in the soft snow and breathe in deeply the fresh air.

"Katso!"

"Look!"

sanoo Liisa ja osoittaa taivaalle.

says Liisa, pointing to the sky.

Revontulet tanssivat taivaalla.

The Northern Lights dance in the sky.

Vihreät, punaiset ja siniset valot luovat taianomaisen tunnelman.

Green, red, and blue lights create a magical atmosphere.

Matti kertoo revontulista tarinan.

Matti tells a story about the Northern Lights.

"Sanotaan, että ne ovat ketun hännän jälkiä", hän selittää.

"They say they are the trails of a fox’s tail," he explains.

Lapset istuvat uudelleen rekeen.

The children sit back in the sleigh.

He ovat lumoutuneet.

They are enchanted.

The journey takes them back to the edge of the forest, where they started.
