  • Airi alustas hommikut Tuhala Nõiakaevu ääres, kus korraldati suur õueturg Jaanipäeva auks.

Airi began her morning by the Tuhala Nõiakaev (Witch's Well), where a large outdoor market was being organized in honor of Midsummer's Day.

The air was filled with joyful humming and scents aplenty: smoked fish, freshly made caramel, and the sweet aroma of lime trees.

  • Airi seadis oma käsitöötoodete laua valmis, täis klaaskuule, puidust nikerdatud mänguasju ja lillemustriga tekstiile.

Airi set up her craft products table, filled with glass spheres, wooden carved toys, and textiles with floral patterns.

  • Tema sõber Maarja aitas tal lauda kaunistada.

Her friend Maarja helped her decorate the table.

  • "Need liiliapiimavärvi suured rätikud on täiuslikud," ütles ta entusiastlikult.

"These lily milk-colored large scarves are perfect," she said enthusiastically.

Maarja was always on Airi's side, supporting Airi's dream of opening her art gallery once her sales progressed well enough.

Kristjan, who happened to also be at the market to buy fresh bread and berries for his family, stopped by their stall.

  • "Need on imeliselt valmistatud," kommenteeris ta, hoides ühte klaaskera valgust vastu.

"These are wonderfully made," he commented, holding one of the glass spheres against the light.

  • "Kas sul on täna suuri plaane, Airi?"

"Do you have big plans today, Airi?"

  • küsis ta heatahtlikult naeratades.

he asked with a kindly smile.

  • "Jah, ma loodan, et täna on hea päev müügiks," vastas Airi.

"Yes, I hope today will be a good day for sales," Airi replied.

  • "Ma pean inimesi oma lauda juurde tooma."

"I need to draw people to my table."

  • Kuid turul ei olnud üksi tema.

But she wasn't alone at the market.

At the height of summer, there were many other craftspersons and vendors, all trying to capture attention.

  • Konkureerimine oli karm.

    The competition was tough.

  • Ja siis, ootamatult, hakkas vihma sadama.

And then, unexpectedly, it started to rain.

  • Inimesed tiirlesid turuplatsil, otsides varju.

People circled the marketplace, looking for shelter.

  • Airi vaatas taeva poole.

Airi looked up at the sky.

The clouds were gloomy, but her heart was determined.

She knew she couldn't just pack up her things.

  • "Maarja, aita mul plastikust varikatus paika panna," palus ta.

"Maarja, help me set up the plastic canopy," she requested.

Maarja hurried to assist, and soon Airi's stall was covered, keeping everything dry and secure.

  • "Proovime midagi uut," sosistas Airi.

"Let's try something new," whispered Airi.

She set a large thermos of herbal tea to warm and began offering cups to passersby.

  • "Tasmaja tee tasuta!

    "Free warming tea!

  • ", hüüdis ta naeratades.

", she called out with a smile.

  • Peagi kogunesid inimesed tema laua äärde, soojendades end teetasside ja Airi lahke naeratuse saatel.

Soon, people gathered around her table, warming themselves with cups of tea and Airi’s kind smile.

  • "See on tore komme," ütles üks vanem naine, vehkides teetassist auru kõrvale.

"This is a nice custom," said an elderly woman, waving steam from her tea cup aside.

  • "Mida sa veel müüd?"

    "What else are you selling?"

Airi took this moment to introduce her crafts, intertwining her stories with Midsummer song lyrics and legends.

People listened with interest, examined her products, and began making purchases.

  • Päeva lõpus oli Airi lett peaaegu tühi.

By the end of the day, Airi's stall was nearly empty.

  • Maarja naeratas laia naeratusega.

    Maarja smiled broadly.

  • "Sa tegid seda, Airi!"

    "You did it, Airi!"

  • Kristjan tuli tagasi, olles kuulnud tema edukast päevast.

Kristjan came back, having heard about her successful day.

  • Airi istus maha, nautides ainsa rahuliku hetke turul.

Airi sat down, enjoying a rare calm moment at the market.

  • Kõik see oli vihma all.

All this took place under the rain.

She felt at peace, knowing she had overcome the difficulties, quietly drawing confidence that her dream was becoming closer step by step.

Through a combination of luck and skill, this Midsummer's Day was a time not only for sales but also for life lessons.
