Ο Νίκος έφτασε πρώτος.

O Nikos arrived first.

Φαινόταν κουρασμένος από το ταξίδι, αλλά χαμογελούσε.

He looked tired from the trip, but he was smiling.

"Είναι καιρός που δεν έχουμε δει ο ένας τον άλλον.

"It's been a while since we've seen each other."

"Η Ελένη αγκάλιασε τον αδελφό της, μα τα μάτια της αναζήτησαν τη Σοφία.

I Eleni hugged her brother, but her eyes searched for Sofia.

Σε λίγο, η μικρότερη αδελφή εμφανίστηκε, με το κινητό στο χέρι.

Soon, the younger sister appeared, phone in hand.

"Συγγνώμη που άργησα, ήμουν με τους φίλους μου.

"Sorry I'm late, I was with my friends."

"Η Ελένη τους πήρε και τους δυο από το χέρι.

I Eleni took them both by the hand.

"Έλατε, μας περιμένουν για την ιδιωτική μας ξενάγηση.

"Come on, they're waiting for us for our private tour."

"Το μουσείο ήταν ήσυχο και μεγαλοπρεπές.

The museum was quiet and majestic.

Αγάλματα και αρχαία αντικείμενα φανέρωναν τη δόξα της αρχαίας Ελλάδας.

Statues and ancient artifacts revealed the glory of ancient Greece.

Η ξενάγηση ξεκίνησε, και η Ελένη προσπαθούσε να ανανεώσει τη σύνδεση τους με ιστορίες από το παρελθόν.

The tour began, and I Eleni tried to renew their connection with stories from the past.

Suddenly, the lights went out.

"Don't worry," said I Eleni calmly.

"Θα φτιάξουμε μια ωραία ανάμνηση.

"We'll make a nice memory."

"Αναβοσβήνοντάς τους με αναπτήρες και κινητά, κάθισαν στο πάτωμα, κοντά σε ένα μεγάλο άγαλμα θεάς.

Lighting each other with lighters and phones, they sat on the floor, near a large statue of a goddess.

Η συζήτηση, αναπόφευκτα, έγινε πιο προσωπική.

The conversation inevitably became more personal.

Αναμνήσεις ξεπήδησαν, και η Ελένη άνοιξε την καρδιά της.

Memories emerged, and I Eleni opened her heart.

"Φοβόμουν ότι χάνουμε την επαφή μας," ομολόγησε.

"I was afraid we were losing touch," she admitted.

"Θέλω να είμαστε κοντά.

"I want us to be close."

"Ο Νίκος αναστέναξε.

O Nikos sighed.

"Έχασα πολλά με το να δουλεύω πάντα.

"I've missed a lot by always working.

Η οικογένεια είναι το σημαντικότερο.

Family is the most important thing."

"Η Σοφία σήκωσε το βλέμμα της.

I Sofia raised her gaze.

"Ήθελα να βρω τον εαυτό μου, μα τώρα κατάλαβα πως σας έχω ανάγκη.

"I wanted to find myself, but now I've realized I need you."

"Καθώς τα φώτα επέστρεψαν, ένα νέο φως φώτισε το πρόσωπό τους.

As the lights returned, a new light shone on their faces.

Η ένταση και η απόσταση έφυγαν, αφήνοντας μόνο αγάπη και κατανόηση.

The tension and distance disappeared, leaving only love and understanding.

"Θα μείνουμε ενωμένοι," είπε η Ελένη, χαμογελώντας.

"We'll stay united," said I Eleni, smiling.

"Η νέα χρονιά θα μας βρει πιο δεμένους.

"The new year will find us closer together."

"Ο Νίκος και η Σοφία συμφώνησαν.

O Nikos and I Sofia agreed.

Βγήκαν από το μουσείο με χαμόγελα, έτοιμοι να γιορτάσουν την Πρωτοχρονιά με την οικογένειά τους, έχοντας βρει ξανά αυτό που τους ένωνε.

They left the museum with smiles, ready to celebrate New Year's with their family, having rediscovered what united them.

Η Ελένη ένιωθε ήρεμη και γεμάτη ελπίδα.

I Eleni felt calm and full of hope.

Δεσμεύτηκαν να κρατήσουν την αγάπη τους ζωντανή.

They pledged to keep their love alive.
