Στους πρόποδες του Ολύμπου, υπήρχε ένα μικρό χωριό.

At the foot of Mount Olympus, there was a small village.

Στο χωριό ζούσαν ο Ανδρέας, η Ελένη και ο Νίκος.

In the village lived Andreas, Helen, and Nikos.

Ήταν καλοί φίλοι και περνούσαν πολύ χρόνο μαζί.

They were good friends and spent a lot of time together.

Μια μέρα, οι βοσκοί του χωριού αρρώστησαν.

One day, the village shepherds became ill.

Κανείς δεν ήξερε τι συνέβαινε.

No one knew what was happening.

Η Ελένη, που ήταν πάντα περίεργη, πρότεινε να ερευνήσουν.

Helen, who was always curious, suggested they investigate.

«Πρέπει να βοηθήσουμε τους βοσκούς», είπε η Ελένη.

"We need to help the shepherds," Helen said.

«Συμφωνώ», απάντησε ο Ανδρέας.

"I agree," replied Andreas.

«Πάμε να βρούμε την αιτία», πρόσθεσε ο Νίκος.

"Let's find the cause," added Nikos.

Οι τρεις φίλοι ξεκίνησαν για τον Όλυμπο.

The three friends set off for Mount Olympus.

Ο δρόμος ήταν δύσκολος.

The path was difficult.

Υπήρχαν πολλά δέντρα και πέτρες.

There were many trees and stones.

Μετά από πολλές ώρες, βρήκαν μια μικρή σπηλιά.

After many hours, they found a small cave.

Μία παράξενη μυρωδιά έβγαινε από τη σπηλιά.

A strange smell was coming from the cave.

Ο Ανδρέας πλησίασε προσεκτικά.

Andreas approached carefully.

«Νομίζω ότι βρήκαμε την αιτία», είπε με χαμηλή φωνή.

"I think we've found the cause," he said in a low voice.

«Πολύ σωστά», είπε η Ελένη.

"Quite right," said Helen.

Στο βάθος της σπηλιάς, υπήρχε μια μαύρη λίμνη.

At the back of the cave, there was a black lake.

Από τη λίμνη έβγαινε καπνός.

Smoke was coming from the lake.

«Αυτός ο καπνός είναι επικίνδυνος», είπε ο Νίκος.

"This smoke is dangerous," said Nikos.

«Πρέπει να σταματήσουμε τη λίμνη».

"We need to stop the lake," he added.

Οι τρεις φίλοι σκέφτηκαν πολύ.

The three friends thought hard.

Τελικά, η Ελένη πρότεινε να φράξουν τη λίμνη με πέτρες.

Finally, Helen suggested blocking the lake with stones.

Όλοι συμφώνησαν και άρχισαν να μαζεύουν πέτρες.

Everyone agreed and started gathering stones.

Δούλεψαν μαζί όλη τη νύχτα.

They worked together all night.

Το επόμενο πρωί, η λίμνη ήταν κλειστή.

By the next morning, the lake was sealed.

«Τα καταφέραμε», είπαν μαζί.

"We did it," they said together.

Όταν επέστρεψαν στο χωριό, οι βοσκοί άρχισαν να γίνονται καλύτερα.

When they returned to the village, the shepherds began to get better.

Ο Ανδρέας, η Ελένη και ο Νίκος ήταν ευτυχισμένοι.

Andreas, Helen, and Nikos were happy.

«Σώσαμε το χωριό», είπε η Ελένη.

"We saved the village," said Helen.

«Ναι, και τώρα μπορούμε να ξεκουραστούμε», απάντησε ο Νίκος.

"Yes, and now we can rest," replied Nikos.

Η ζωή στο χωριό επέστρεψε στο φυσιολογικό.

Life in the village returned to normal.

Οι βοσκοί μπορούσαν ξανά να φροντίζουν τα ζώα τους,

The shepherds could once again take care of their animals,

και οι τρεις φίλοι συνέχισαν να εξερευνούν τον Όλυμπο.

and the three friends continued to explore Mount Olympus.

Το μυστηριώδες πρόβλημα λύθηκε,

The mysterious problem was solved,

και η ειρήνη επέστρεψε στο χωριό.

and peace returned to the village.
