In a small, cozy cabin in the Schwarzwald, surrounded by tall, rustling pines, Lukas and Anna prepared for their weekend.

Autumn had transformed the forest into a sea of red and gold.

Outside, a storm raged, swirling leaves in the wind and pounding against the windows.

  • Drinnen waren sie warm und geborgen.

Inside, they were warm and secure.

A crackling fireplace cast warm shadows on the rustic wooden furniture.

The scent of fresh pines and damp earth filled the air.

Lukas sat on the sofa, intensely staring at the diamond ring in his jacket pocket.

His best friend Johan had helped him plan this weekend, and now the moment was almost here.

  • Anna genoss die Ruhe.

    Anna enjoyed the calm.

“It’s so beautiful here, isn't it?” she said, as she sat next to Lukas and leaned against his shoulder.

  • Lukas nickte, sein Herz klopfte.

    Lukas nodded, his heart pounding.

“Yes, very beautiful,” he replied, but his thoughts were elsewhere.

Halloween night was approaching, and the storm outside was getting stronger.

Suddenly, lightning flashed, and thunder followed shortly after.

Part of Lukas wanted to wait until the weather calmed, but he knew this was the perfect opportunity.

He turned to Anna, took her hands, and looked deeply into her eyes.

  • „Anna,“ begann er zögerlich, „ich wollte dir schon lange etwas sagen.“ Anna blickte ihn neugierig an.

“Anna,” he began hesitantly, “there's something I've wanted to tell you for a long time.” Anna looked at him curiously.

Another flash of lightning illuminated the room, casting their faces in a brief, white light.

  • Lukas holte tief Luft.

    Lukas took a deep breath.

  • „Ich liebe dich mehr als alles andere.

“I love you more than anything.

Will you be my wife?” Anna looked at him surprised, her eyes shining in the flickering candlelight.

It was as if the storm outside paused for just a moment.

  • „Ja, Lukas!

    “Yes, Lukas!

Yes!” She threw her arms around his neck, and they embraced for a long time, the thunder as their witness.

The storm continued to rage, but now it was like music to them.

Lukas felt freed from his previous uncertainty.

He understood that the perfect moment didn’t mean the absence of imperfections, but rather the trust in their love.

They sat there, enjoying the warmth of the fire and the certainty of their shared future, while outside the winds howled.
