Fritz sieht den Spaß darin.

„Jetzt wird es spannend!

Fritz macht alberne Gesichter, um die Situation zu entspannen, und Anke schüttelt den Kopf, schmunzelt dabei aber.

„Hier, Vögelchen“, sagt sie mit zittriger Stimme.

Das Café hält den Atem an.

Der Strauß schnüffelt an dem Brötchen, folgt Anke zur Tür.

The ostrich sniffs the roll and follows Anke to the door.

Die Gäste schauen erwartungsvoll.

The guests watch expectantly.

Mit einem letzten Wischer geht der Strauß hinaus ins Freie.

With one last swipe, the ostrich goes out into the open.

Applaus bricht aus, und alle lachen.

Applause breaks out, and everyone laughs.

Anke lässt erschöpft die Arme sinken, aber auf ihren Lippen liegt ein befreiendes Lächeln.

Anke lets her arms drop, exhausted, but a liberating smile is on her lips.

„Du hast es geschafft, Liebes!

"You did it, my love!"

“, ruft Fritz stolz.
