„Ich brauche etwas Neues“, sagte Anke entschlossen.

"I need something new," Anke said decisively.

"Something practical but also stylish."

Clara lachte. „Du immer mit deinen Listen. Entspann dich doch mal und schau einfach, was dir gefällt.“

Clara laughed. "You always with your lists. Just relax and look at what you like."

Lutz, immer der Pragmatiker, nickte Zustimmung.

Lutz, always the pragmatist, nodded in agreement.

„Ein guter Mantel ist wichtig, Anke. Wenn er wärmt und dir gefällt, ist das perfekt.“

"A good coat is important, Anke. If it keeps you warm and you like it, that's perfect."

Sie gingen an Schaufenstern vorbei, in denen warme Wollmäntel und bunte Schals ausgestellt waren.

They walked past display windows showcasing warm wool coats and colorful scarves.

Anke seufzte leise.

Anke sighed softly.

Viele Mäntel waren zu teuer oder nicht nach ihrem Geschmack.

Many coats were too expensive or not to her taste.

Andere hatten die falsche Farbe.

Others had the wrong color.

„Vielleicht schaust du mal in der Designerecke“, schlug Lutz vor, als sie eine Auslage mit eleganten, modernen Mänteln passierten.

"Maybe check out the designer section," suggested Lutz as they passed a display of elegant, modern coats.

Anke zögerte. „Aber die sind so teuer...“

Anke hesitated. "But they're so expensive..."

„Manchmal lohnt sich der Blick“, ermutigte Clara sie.

"Sometimes it's worth a look," Clara encouraged her.

„Du kannst ja wenigstens mal schauen.“

"You can at least have a look."

In der Designerabteilung funkelten die Mäntel in den Lichtern der großen Fenster.

Anke strich über einen besonders schönen Mantel, dunkelblau, mit feinem Schnitt.

Der Preis ließ ihr Herz kurz stehen.

„Der ist perfekt“, sagte Clara bewundernd.

"That's perfect," said Clara admiringly.

„Er steht dir bestimmt fantastisch.“

"I'm sure it'll look fantastic on you."

Anke zog den Mantel an und betrachtete sich im Spiegel.

Anke put on the coat and looked at herself in the mirror.

Ihre Zweifel verblichen langsam.

Her doubts slowly faded.

An der Kasse zückte sie entschlossen die Kreditkarte.
