"Der Markt ist toll, oder?"

begann sie zögernd.

"Ja, wirklich schön," antwortete Lukas und trank einen Schluck Apfelwein.

Moritz, der ihre Spannung spürte, schlug vor: "Lasst uns das Marktzentrum ansehen!"

Moritz, sensing their tension, suggested, "Let's check out the market center!"

Sie gingen weiter, zwischen den Marktständen voller Gemüse, Brot und Blumen.

They continued on, between the market stalls full of vegetables, bread, and flowers.

Klara wusste, der richtige Moment war jetzt oder nie.

"Lukas," sagte sie plötzlich, "können wir reden?

"Lukas," she said suddenly, "can we talk?

Über letztes Jahr..." Lukas blieb stehen.

Er sah sie überrascht an, aber nicht unfreundlich.

"Klara, klar, lass uns reden."

"Klara, sure, let's talk."

Moritz, verständig wie immer, wanderte zur Seite, um ihnen Raum zu lassen.

"Klara, ich habe das alles nicht vergessen," sagte Lukas ehrlich, "aber hier, auf dem Markt, mit diesen wunderschönen Düften und Geräuschen, fühlt sich alles etwas leichter an."

"Klara, I haven't forgotten all of it," Lukas said honestly, "but here, at the market, with these beautiful scents and sounds, everything feels a bit lighter."

Klara seufzte erleichtert.

Klara sighed with relief.

"Ich wollte nicht, dass wir so auseinandergehen.

"I didn't want us to drift apart like that.

Du warst mein Freund, mein guter Freund."

You were my friend, my good friend."

Lukas nickte langsam.

Lukas nodded slowly.

"Ich denke, wir beide waren damals stur.

"I think we were both stubborn back then.

Aber weißt du, ich bin froh, dass du darüber sprechen willst."

But you know, I'm glad you want to talk about it."

Sie lächelten einander an, ein neuer Anfang war möglich.

They smiled at each other, a new beginning was possible.

"Warum holen wir uns nicht einfach ein paar von diesen Leckereien?"

"Why don't we just grab some of these treats?"

schlug Lukas vor und deutete auf einen Stand mit bayerischen Brezen und Obazda.

"In Ordnung," sagte Klara zufrieden, "lass uns neu anfangen."

"Alright," Klara said contentedly, "let's start anew."

Moritz kehrte zurück und schloss sich ihnen mit einem breiten Lächeln an.

"Seht ihr, der Markt bringt die besten Dinge hervor."

Zusammen genossen sie die Delikatessen, lachten und sprachen über die Zukunft.
