Sie ist nervös.

Heute ist Pfingstmontag, und sie muss eine wichtige Führung durch die Ausstellung seltener Pflanzen geben.

Today is Whit Monday, and she must give an important tour of the rare plants exhibition.

Normalerweise liebt Lena ihre Arbeit als Botanikerin.

Normally, Lena loves her job as a botanist.

Doch heute plagen sie heftige Allergiesymptome.

But today, she is plagued by severe allergy symptoms.

Ihre Augen jucken, und sie hat das Gefühl, dass sie nie genug Luft bekommt.

Her eyes itch, and she feels like she can never get enough air.

Trotzdem ist sie entschlossen.

Still, she is determined.

Sie muss diese Führung schaffen.

She must get through this tour.

Karl, Lenas Partner, ist bei ihr.

Karl, Lena's partner, is with her.

Er ist immer ihre Unterstützung.

He is always her support.

Doch er hat eigene Sorgen, von denen er Lena nicht erzählen will.

But he has his own worries that he doesn't want to share with Lena.

Er will sie nicht noch mehr belasten.

He doesn't want to burden her anymore.

"Du schaffst das, Lena", sagt Karl und lächelt beruhigend.

"You can do it, Lena," Karl says with a reassuring smile.

Doch er sieht die Anspannung in ihren Augen.

But he sees the tension in her eyes.

Während der Führung versucht Lena, den Gästen die seltenen Pflanzen zu zeigen.

During the tour, Lena tries to show the rare plants to the guests.

Ihre Stimme ist leise, und ab und zu muss sie niesen.

Her voice is soft, and now and then she has to sneeze.

Ihr Herz klopft schneller, als sie merkt, dass die Symptome schlimmer werden.

Her heart beats faster as she realizes the symptoms are worsening.

Sie fühlt sich wie ein Betrüger.

She feels like a fraud.

Was, wenn sie nicht gut genug ist?

What if she's not good enough?

Plötzlich wird alles zu viel.

Suddenly, it all becomes too much.

Lena muss stehen bleiben, ihre Hand auf der Brust.

Lena has to stop, placing her hand on her chest.

Die Tour-Teilnehmer schauen sich besorgt um.

The tour participants look around concerned.

Karl tritt vor und übernimmt.

Karl steps forward and takes over.

"Hallo zusammen, Lena braucht eine Pause.

"Hello everyone, Lena needs a break.

Ich erzähle euch weiter über die Pflanzen", sagt er mit ruhiger Stimme.

I'll continue telling you about the plants," he says in a calm voice.

Lenas Herz beruhigt sich ein wenig.

Lena's heart calms down a bit.

Sie atmet tief durch.

She takes a deep breath.

Nach einer kurzen Pause, während Karls Stimme die Gruppe leitet, fühlt sich Lena besser.

After a short break, while Karl's voice guides the group, Lena feels better.

Sie tritt zurück zur Gruppe und lächelt dankbar.

She steps back to the group and smiles gratefully.

Zusammen, mit sagenhaften Erklärungen sowohl von Lena als auch von Karl, verläuft die Tour erfolgreich weiter.

Nach der Führung setzen sich Lena und Karl auf eine Bank im Schatten.

After the tour, Lena and Karl sit on a bench in the shade.

Schmetterlinge tanzen um sie herum.

Butterflies dance around them.

"Karl, danke", sagt Lena leise.

"Thank you, Karl," Lena says quietly.

"Ich hätte das heute nicht ohne dich geschafft."

"I couldn't have done this today without you."

Karl nimmt ihre Hand.

Karl takes her hand.

"Lena, du musst dir nicht alles allein beweisen.

"Lena, you don’t have to prove everything by yourself.

Und ich... sollte dir auch von meinen gesundheitlichen Bedenken erzählen.

And I... should tell you about my health concerns too.

Wir sind ein Team."

We are a team."

Lena lächelt und nickt.

Lena smiles and nods.

"Ja, wir sind ein Team.

"Yes, we are a team.

Und ich werde meine Grenzen akzeptieren."

And I will accept my boundaries."

Von diesem Tag an ist ihre Beziehung stärker.

From that day on, their relationship is stronger.

Lena ist selbstbewusster, und Karl fühlt sich freier, offen über seine Sorgen zu sprechen.

Lena is more confident, and Karl feels freer to openly talk about his concerns.
