    It was a clear autumn day in Aarhus.

  • Byen lå ved kysten, hvor bølgerne stille skyllede ind mod stranden.

    The city lay by the coast, where the waves gently washed against the shore.

  • Træerne havde smukke gyldne og røde blade, som vinden legede med.

    The trees had beautiful golden and red leaves, which the wind played with.

  • Det var tid til at starte skolen igen, og eleverne vrimlede ind i klasselokalerne på byens gymnasium.

    It was time to start school again, and the students swarmed into the classrooms at the city's high school.

  • Søren, en passioneret elev i tredje g, gik gennem skolegården.

    Søren, a passionate student in the third grade, walked through the schoolyard.

  • Han var interesseret i miljøvidenskab og drømte om at gøre en forskel.

    He was interested in environmental science and dreamed of making a difference.

  • Men han følte sig ofte overset af lærerne.

    But he often felt overlooked by the teachers.

  • Hans ven Lise vidste det godt.

    His friend Lise knew this well.

  • Hun var altid ved hans side, og selvom hun selv frygtede at fejle, støttede hun Søren helhjertet.

    She was always by his side, and although she herself feared failure, she supported Søren wholeheartedly.

    He sighed heavily and looked out over the sea.
