Kasper stood in the middle of the great hall at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek.
Soft lighting played over the classical sculptures, and the sound of quiet conversations diffused through the room.
It was spring, and the museum was filled with people enjoying the art.
Kasper, an art student, wandered around admiring the many details of a particularly fine Roman statue.
Suddenly, he took a step back and bumped into the pedestal the statue stood on.
Til hans rædsel begyndte statuen at vippe.
To his horror, the statue began to tilt.
He desperately grabbed it, but his back wobbled under the weight.
"Kasper!"
"Kasper!"
shouted Mikkel, his friend, who stood not far away.
"Hvad laver du?"
"What are you doing?"
Kasper hviskede hektisk tilbage, "Mikkel, hjælp mig!
Kasper whispered back frantically, "Mikkel, help me!
If Sofie sees this, I'll be thrown out!"
Sofie, the museum's meticulous guide, was already heading toward them with determined steps.
Kasper manglede kun få sekunder til at få statuen tilbage i balance.
Kasper had only a few seconds to get the statue back in balance.
Mikkel tænkte hurtigt.
Mikkel thought quickly.
"Okay, I'll create a distraction," he said, smiling.
He jumped onto a nearby bench and began singing a wild song he made up.
People turned to him, confused but intrigued.
Selv Sofie stoppede op et øjeblik.
Even Sofie paused for a moment.
Kasper benyttede lejligheden.
Kasper seized the opportunity.
He straightened the statue and wiped the sweat from his forehead.
Now it stood perfectly again, without a sign of his clumsiness.
Da Sofie nåede dem, sendte hun Kasper et blik, der sagde, at hun nok havde opdaget noget.
When Sofie reached them, she gave Kasper a look that suggested she might have noticed something.
But to Kasper and Mikkel's surprise, she just gave a small smile and continued on her route.
Senere, uden for museet, åndede Kasper lettet op.
Later, outside the museum, Kasper breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thanks, Mikkel," he said, patting his friend on the back.
Mikkel lo.
Mikkel laughed.
"Always ready for a show," he replied cheerfully.
And Kasper knew now that he could always think quickly and use his creativity when he was in trouble.
That's how Kasper learned an important lesson, while his friendship with Mikkel became even stronger.
Mikkel might have been a bit wild, but he was always a friend to rely on.
Og Sofie?
And Sofie?
Tja, hun vidste, hvordan man holdt en hemmelighed.
Well, she knew how to keep a secret.
